8:25 PM IST: David Miller hits the winning runs as Paarl Royals get over the line. They win this game by 5 wickets with 7 balls to spare to get valuable points on the board. Their bowlers did the job earlier today and then Jos Buttler at the top and skipper David Miller in the end got the job done for the visitors. 

Chasing a gettable 131 for the win, Paarl Royals lost Jason Roy early once again as he cannot buy a run at this stage. He went for 8. Lubbe also went early. But Jos Buttler held the innings together as he scored 51 off 39 balls. He set the chase nicely on a difficult surface before he fell. Buuren scored 14. Then it was the skipper David Miller who shone through under pressure. The skipper remained unbeaten on 37* off 23 balls and came to the party when it was needed. Dane Vilas was with him unbeaten on 12* off 10 balls. as they got to the target in 18.5 overs winning by 5 wickets. Just 3 extras were given by the fielding side. 

Roelof van der Merwe was the pick of the bowlers for the Sunrisers Eastern Cape. He had exceptional figures of 2/11 in 4 overs. A wicket apiece for JJ Smuts, Marco Jansen, and Sisanda Magala. It was Magala's 18th over that went for 25 runs and changed the game for the Paarl Royals. Miller took him to the cleaners when it really mattered. Under pressure, Miller shone through. 

Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Sunrisers Eastern Cape lost their openers early in the piece. JJ Smuts played the innings of substance as he scored 65 off 49 balls and held the innings together. Aiden Markram scored 15. Tristan Stubbs scored 18 while Marco Jansen scored 13 as the home side was restricted to 130/7 In 20 overs. 5 extras were given by the fielding side.

Andile Phehlukwayo was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 2 wickets for 26 runs in 4 overs. Evan Jones supported him by picking up a couple of wickets for 27 runs in 4 overs. A wicket apiece for Bjorn Fortuin, Lungi Ngidi, and Tabraiz Shamsi. All the bowlers kept it tight and kept the score to 130 runs.  

So, a win by 5 wickets for the Paarl Royals over the Sunrisers Eastern Cape in Port Elizabeth as the Royals climb upwards in the points table.
