That’s a wrap from our side as well. Thank you for joining us from all around the globe. This is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Karthik and Scorer/Analyst Paras. Do join us for the other fixtures across the globe until then Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.
Hayley Matthews (Skipper Royals): " I am feeling very good the girls have performed very well. Everyone played their role perfectly and gave their hundred percent each time."
Deandra Dottin (Skipper Knight Riders): " I will say there wasn't the result that we wanted but we played good cricket in the later part of the tournament and I am very proud."
Chloe Tryon: "We got out too softly. We showed a lot of fight today and glad we got over the line. Looking forward to the CPL T20. From ball one, we put in a lot of effort."
Afy Fletcher: "The win means a lot. The first 6IXTY tournament and it is good to win. A very good experience for us. It is very challenging to come back after having a child."

Deepak: And thus the women's 6IXTY tournament concluded successfully. Barbados Royals clinched the first title as they defeated Trinibago Knight Riders by 15 runs. What a brilliant view of bowling from the Royals as they were able to defend 65 runs against a strong batting line-up.

Earlier Royals scored 65 runs in the first inning and set a total of 66 runs for the Riders to win this match.

The riders came out to chase down 66 runs but didn’t get the start they wanted as they lost 2 big wickets including Denda Dottin (7 of 7) in the powerplay with just 13 runs on the boards. The riders lost wickets in quick succession.

Sune Luus tried to finish the match for the Riders but she didn't bat till the end and departed scoring 17 runs off 18 balls. The riders lost their 3 wickets in the 9th over and were bundled at 50 runs.

On the other hand, Shakera Selman picks up 3 wickets giving away just 10 runs in the 2 overs. Qiana Joseph picks up a couple of wickets and Afy Fletcher picked up one wicket.
