That’s it from all of us for this game. Don’t go anywhere as the first qualifier will begin shortly. This is me, Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and scorer Ashok Dayma. Tata. Bye Bye.

Karun Nair | Mysore Warriors Skipper: "Very happy with the performance today. We did very well to restrict them to 164 and the batters then stepped up to chase it down. That’s been the trend of this tournament. Going after the bowling in the powerplay and losing wickets in the middle overs. But we tried not to lose any wickets in the overs 7-14 and really well done to all the boys today. The break mentally helps as the other players played yesterday and it proved to be draining for them. The fan following has been great. We will take one game at a time and hopefully qualify for the final."

Shreyas Gopal, Player of the Match: "Yes, pretty with the happy I started off. They started well in the powerplay and we pulled it back. The fourth over I was greedy to tempt Naveen MG towards the longer boundaries. But it's worth the gamble. About the batting. I played well but that was a poor shot from my end. Being an experienced player, I should not be playing this shot and in the last three games, I have failed to take the team across the line. I will hope to improve on that. One job is done and hopefully, two more to go. See you all on Thursday."
Shreyas Gopal is the Player of the match. He also receives the Purple Cap.
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony with Charu Sharma.
Akshay: There it is. Nihal Ullal hits the winning runs and Mysore Warriors chase down 165 with five balls to spare to keep themselves alive in the competition and knock the Hubli Tigers out of the competition. The bowlers did a fine job to restrict the Tigers to a low total before their batters stepped up to chase down the total with five wickets in hand.

Chasing 165, the Mysore Warriors got off to a solid start, thanks to their openers Nihal Ullal and Karun Nair. They both put 54 between them for the first wicket before Nair departed on 23 in the last over of the powerplay. Pavan Deshpande joined Ullal and started building a solid partnership. Ullal played some brilliant strokes and was well-supported by Deshpande from the other end.

Anand Doddamani of the Tigers picked the big wicket of Deshpande in the 12
th over, with 94 on the board. Shreyas Gopal arrived at the crease and changed the whole complexion of the match. He along with Ullal teed off, with the latter bringing up a well-composed half-century. Some poor bowling from the Tigers helped the duo as they brought the required run rate under six.

Gopal’s cameo of 32 off 18 balls came to end with nine required to win. They lost two more wickets in the penultimate over but Ullal kept his cool and remained unbeaten on 77 to take his side across the line to win the game by five wickets. Anand Doddamani picked five of those but it wasn't enough as they finished on the losing side.

It was Karun Nair, the Mysore Warriors skipper, who won the toss and elected to field first. They didn’t have the best of starts as Mohammad Taha and Luvnith Sisodia got the Tigers off to a fantastic start. Both took on the bowling from the word go and put 56 between them at the end of the powerplay. Shreyas Gopal struck on his very first ball as he dismissed Taha in the seventh over. This created the opening for the Warriors as they picked up five wickets in quick succession and pulled back things in the middle overs.

Swapnil Yelave along with Naveen MG led the fightback for the Tigers as they both stitched a good partnership between them. The 53-run stand came to an end when Naveen was dismissed in the 17
th over on 32. The Tigers had the platform but failed to finish with a flourish as they finished their innings on 164/7. Shreyas Gopal finished with figures of 3/33 in his four overs. It helped them restrict below 170 which they chased down in the last over with five wickets in hand. Stick around for the post-match presentations.

19.1 V koushik to N Ullal
4 FOUR! Fuller on the legs, Ullal flicks it away towards a deep square leg for a boundary and seals the deal for the Mysore Warriors. Ullal carries his bat as the Warriors are into Qualifier 2 of Maharaja T20 League 2022. Heartbreak for the Tigers as The Warriors make it 3 out of 3 against the Tigers.
Just 3 required now from the last over.

Akshay: What is going on here? Doddamani has changed the match on its head. This is very poor cricket from the Warriors. Everyone is going for a glory shot and departing in the process. They require nine runs in eight balls now.
18.4 A Doddamani to Khenwar
W In the air and taken. Another one bites the dust. Tossed up on the stumps, Khenwar gets down on one knee and looks to slog sweep it but ends up getting a top edge and Khan stationed at deep square leg stations himself on the edge of the boundary and takes a fantastic catch. Doddamani picks his third wicket of the over.
18.3 A Doddamani to Khenwar
0 Fuller on the stumps, Khenwar defends forward.
