Megh: A high-octane match and an exceptional group stage of SPL 2022 conclude with this encounter. The Knights, courtesy of Mohammad Shahzad and Allah Mohammad have secured last place in the playoffs. An assertive display of batting from Knights today, with Shahzad’s (36 in 18) and Gulbadin Naib’s (40 of 24) leading the way for them. The Knights dominated the 40 overs and were in complete control of the situation throughout the game. Allah Mohammad bowled impenetrable lines and extracted the most out of the surface, he finished with four scalps by giving away just 15 runs. Similarly, Amir Hamza also discomposed batters with the ability to illustrate different variations, he concluded his spell with a figure of 2/12. The Group Stage is done and dusted and we have our final four namely, Boost Defenders, Speenghar Tigers, Kabul Eagles, and Mis-E-Ainak Knights, who would squabble for the SPL 2022 trophy in the playoffs. The Boost Defenders and Speenghar Tigers will fight for the final’s spot in Qualifier 1. Meanwhile, the Kabul Eagles and Mis-E-Ainak Knights will compete in the Eliminator.
