Barbados have won the match by 36 runs on the back of a fantastic knock by Azam Khan and some brilliant bowling!! St.Kitts and Nivas have lost another game and remain at the bottom of the points table just above the Guyana Amazon Warriors.

Earlier in the day, St.Kitts and Nevis Patriots won toss and opted to bowl first on a dry-looking surface. The Barbados Royals started off slowly and also lost 2 wickets for 46 runs in 7.2 overs. Cornwall scored 6 runs off 9 balls and Mayers scored 16 runs off 22 balls.

That partnership between Tector and Azam steadied the ship and helped the Royals post a formidable total. Tector remained not out on 47 and Azam finished with 64 of 42, he hit some lusty blows towards the end of the innings. Rashid and Cottrell bowled economical spells, but skipper Dwayne Bravo proved to be quite expensive today.

Chasing 157, St.Kitts and Nevis Patriots got off to a good start, Evin Lewis and Flecther opened the batting and were brilliant to start off, they didn't lose a single wicket in the powerplay!! Things looked under control until Flecther and Lewis got dismissed!!

SKNP lost their way at the 100-run mark, they lost 3 quick wickets and things started to fall apart for the Patriots! It was a downhill slide. There were no partnerships and wickets kept tumbling!! It was just a matter of time before St.Kitts and Nevis got bundled out.

The Barbados bowlers were fantastic today, Nyeem Young and Mujeeb Ur Rahman were the pick of the bowlers, they picked up 3 wickets each and gave away very few runs!! Holder picked up 2 wickets in his 4 and Cornwall picked one wicket. The Barbados Royals were excellent in the field today.. the outfielding and catching were just fabulous.
