That’s a wrap from our side as well. Thank you for joining us from all around the globe. Unfortunately, We were unable to watch any action today. This is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Nikhil and Scorer / Analyst Paras. Do join us for the other fixtures across the globe until then Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.

Deepak: We have bad news, the match is abandoned without a ball being bowled. Both teams will share one point each. The dampness around the bowling region was a big concern and the officials decided to abandon the game.
6:20 AM IST: The word we are getting from St.Kitts is that we will have another inspection at 7:00 AM IST. Stay tuned for further add-ons.
6:08 AM IST: The umpires have done the inspection. The area of concern appears to be the run-up for the bowlers. It is damp and the surface is a bit loose too. We still await an official verdict on when the game will start. We are in for a shortened game that's one given now.
5.38 AM IST: The rain is completely stopped and the groundsmen are working on the outfield and stumps are getting installed. There will be an inspection at 8.30 pm local i.e 6 am IST. Stay tuned for further updates.
5:00 A.M. IST | The news from the center is that the rain has eased up and we will start once the ceremony for the WCPL is done and dusted.
The women's game has just ended with TKR-W lifting the trophy here. The rain is pouring down at Warner Park and we may be in for a delayed start here. Stay tuned for further updates.

PITCH REPORT-:

The surface at Warner Park has been very good for batting in the last few games and the same kind of trend is expected to be followed today. The quick bowlers might find a little more help in the initial overs and hence, the team winning the toss might look to bowl first.

Key Players:

Sherfane Rutherford: Sherfane Rutherford performed exceptionally well in recent times. He has shown good form and the Patriots would be banking on him to come out good again today.

Dwayne Bravo: Dwayne Bravo will bowl both in starting and death overs, making him a player to watch out for. He performed exceptionally well with the ball in the last match, picking up two wickets.

Andre Fletcher: Since the pitch looks decent for batting, Andre Fletcher will be one to watch out for as he will bat at the top order and also keep wickets for the team. He has already smashed 112 runs in the last two matches.

NIKHIL: Hello and welcome to the live coverage of the 7th game of Caribbean Premier League 2022 between St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots vs Guyana Amazon Warriors. The defending champions will be having a massive advantage of playing in their own backyard at St.Kitts. They will know the conditions here better and would like to start their sorry-looking campaign so far with a win in this game. SKN Patriots have had a bad start losing 2 out of the 3 games and 1 game being washed out. Guyana Amazon Warriors would be looking to bounce back after the loss against Jamaica.

Hello and welcome to all, this is Nikhil Kalla alongside my co-commentator Deepak and our scorer/analyst Paras. We will be taking you ahead with the LIVE Ball-to-Ball coverage of the 7th game of CPL 2022 as the play progresses in this encounter between St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots vs Guyana Amazon Warriors.

St Kitts & Nevis Patriots will clash against Guyana Amazon Warriors in the 7th match of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2022 on Monday, September 5th, at Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts.

Currently, SKNP are sitting at fourth place on the table with just one point they earned after a rain-abandoned match against Trinbago Knight Riders. Having played three matches so far, the Patriots haven't won even a single game. Losing their first two matches against Jamaica Tallawahs and Barbados Royals, the Dwayne Bravo-led side would want to move up on the table.

Conversely, Guyana have played just one game against Jamaica and were thrashed by four wickets in a closely-contested game that went to the final over. Skipper Shimron Hetymer struggled to score runs at a brisk rate while facing 45 deliveries, where he could only manage 39 runs.

Overall, these two sides have faced each other ten times in history, with Guyana triumphing in six of those encounters. A great contest is on the cards with two powerful sides colliding with each other.

Do join us at 3:30 AM IST for the live coverage of the game.
