That's it for today, this is Ishan signing off with my co-commentator Akshay along with our scorer/analyst Raju. We will be back with all the updates, until then Good Bye, Take Care!
Kaushik Gandhi | Captain, Chepauk Super Gillies: I'm not strong in maths but I guess we are in a good position to finish in the top two, it was just the cherry on that cake. It is very good to see everyone chipped in with the bat, Sai Kishor also chipped in with the bat apart from the bowl. Sai might have created a record of the most economical spell, we were wondering what if hadn't conceded two runs (laughs). Though it was a very good game for us, high chances of playoffs for us now.
R Sai Kishore | Player of the Match: "Definitely pleased with the team. Happy to contribute to the team’s success. Going into this innings, I think everyone had to take responsibility. Didn’t think of winning the game but made sure that I step up and contribute and help the team."

R Sai Kishore is the Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling figures of 4-3-2-4.
Srikkanth Anirudha | IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans Skipper: "I felt we gave 30 runs extra. It’s not a great wicket to bat on. The dropped catches and giving Sasidev a chance was not ideal at this stage. We could have restricted them below 100. We haven’t built partnerships throughout this season and the same was the case tonight. We have to take catches. It was a difficult wicket to bat on, to be honest."
Time for the presentations.
22.48 IST: That's it, Chepauk Super Gillies has pulled off an enormous 60 runs victory despite scoring 133 runs on the board. Super Gillies had lost the toss and were invited to bat first by IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans. They got the shacky start from their openers and lost three wickets inside the powerplay overs. They were losing wickets at regular intervals and once it looked like they won't even cross the 100-run mark. However, with a significant contribution from Sasidev (45* off 29 balls) and Radhakrishnan (24 off 18 balls) they were able to manage 133 runs on the board. Though it still looked like they are 15-20 runs short but Super Gillies' spinners webbed the Tamizhans' batters right from the powerplay overs itself. Their skipper Srikkanth Anirudha(26)
was perhaps the only one in their batting line-up who looked in control but after his departure, they kept on losing wickets in successive intervals. No one for them stood up tall and possessed the fight and eventually, they lost the contest by 60 runs.
Ravi Srinivasan Sai Kishore, remember the name, the guy has bowled the most economical spell in TNPL's history. In his spell of four overs, he just conceded two runs and picked up four wickets. Moreover, he bowled three maiden overs on the trot. Not to forget, Sandeep Warrier whose hattrick was overshadowed by Sai Kishore's figures. In addition, Alexander also bragged a couple of wickets for them.

After this victory, Super Gillies will be having 10 points in their bank (remain second in the points table) which means they are also qualified for the playoffs while Tiruppur Tamizhans with six points in their account will remain on fifth place but unfortunately for them, they are knocked out of the tournament with this loss. Hang on for the presentation.
19.3 Yadav to Prasath
W Cleans him up around his legs. Yadav from round the wicket bowls on a length on leg, Prasath shuffles across the stumps and tries to flick it but misses and the leg stump is flattened. A solid performance from the Chepauk Super Gillies as they beat the IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans by 60 runs and qualify for the playoffs.
19.2 Yadav to Prasath
0 Length delivery outside off, Prasath pokes at it and gets beaten on the outside edge.
19.1 Yadav to Prasath
0 Yadav from round the wicket attacks the stumps with a length delivery and Prasath blocks it straight.
