BARMY ARMY WIN BY 6 RUNS! 21 needed off the final over and Dottin(4-29-1) bowled extremely well to defend it. Sapphires started off cautiously with Villani taking the charge(24 off 20). Grace Harris played a good little cameo of 31 off 20. Leede and Lewis got starts but couldn't hold on to it. They were suddenly reduced from 79/2 to 101/6 and looked into some trouble.

It was all up to Ismail and Omar to win the match for their team. Ismail played a hefty knock but was dismissed on 16 off 13. Omar played a good fighting knock of 26 off 20 but could not take her team over the finishing line! Rumana Ahmed was the best bowler for her team, taking 3 wickets for 22 in her spell. Fatima Sana bowled some good line and lengths today(4-22-0)

To sum up the innings of Barmy Army, Dottin gave a fiery start to her team, scoring 28 of just 17. Heather Knight also played a good little inning of 20 off 15. It was Laura Wolvaardt, who was absolutely devastating with the bat today, scoring 65 off just 45 with 10 boundaries, taking the Barmy Army to 148 in their 20 overs. Grace Harris(4-22-5) was the best Sapphire bowler today, taking 5 wickets including a hat-trick and despite Wolvaardt heroics, restricted them to under 150! Barmy Army booked their semi-final spot with this crucial win.
