Babar Azam: "The things we planned, we executed them well as a team. We gave our 100% in all 3 departments. The second match we played was special, how Nawaz turned the entire match, that was a series decider for us. We are testing our bench strength well, and using different combinations and this is how good teams are built. There's always room to improve, we lost a few wickets and the fielding needs to be improved too, we learn from our mistakes. The mentality is to play according to the situation and conditions with optimism, and partnerships."
Nicholas Pooran: "The last two games were disappointed, we played poorly. Today we did well but we fell short. There are a lot of positives and learning from this series. Akeal has been working hard on his craft, well played to Akeal. I'm really proud of the players the way they played, it was challenging for us and only a few people knew how difficult it was. We are looking forward to them being smart as well. We love the fans here at Multan and every time come here its a treat."
Imam ul Haq: "It feels nice, and its all about process and handwork, and when it pays off it feels special, the team mates are fantastic. I haven't changed anything, after 2019 I have taken more ODI games and it takes time to string together a few matches, and the confidence improves with that. The opening partnership is special to us, we understand each other and absorb the pressure well. Run outs are a part of the game but it was his fault."

Shadab Khan: "Its difficult to comeback after injuries, I was bowling well since 2 matches and batting well today, I'm grateful I was able to recapture my form. Nawaz, Hasan and Wasim were there for us, the thought was to take it as deep as possible and we can explode in the later stages of the match. Today the bowling was not better than the first two matches, but wickets are given by god and I'll put in efforts to improve more and more."

PAKISTAN HAS SNATCHED A BRILLIANT 53 RUN VICTORY FROM THE JAWS OF DEFEAT! Pakistan players take a lap of victory and wave to the crowd, historic series this has been. Multan has hosted a game after 14 years and their hosts reward the fans with a sensational game of cricket! 

Pakistan started in dominant fashion, Zaman and Imam putting together a 85 run strong partnership, with Imam eventually going on to score a nice half century to give the early charge to Pakistan. Zaman fell and Babar followed soon after, Nicholas Pooran being the chief of destruction picking up 4 wickets and bamboozling the Pakistani batters. 

Then the dust storm came and changed their fortunes, Shadab Khan with a brilliant knock of 86 runs to power Pakistan to a strong total of 269 runs in 48 overs. And he was again the main man in the bowling department too, picking up 4 wickets and destroying the Windies chase. 

West Indies started off aggressively with their chase, scoring at a fair click. However, their high run rate was accompanied with regular fall of wickets which ultimately proved to be their doom. Unable to stitch together a partnership through out the innings, they still threatened with their power hitting lineup. 

In the end, Pakistan held onto their nerves, clinching the game with the wicket of Akeal Hossein who smashed a powerful half century to lead his side's quest to win this encounter! Pakistan come out on top and whitewash the men from West Indies 3-0 in this ODI Series and winning all 6 matches on this tour! Historic few weeks for Pakistani cricket!
