NIKHIL: Hello and welcome, as we bring you all the live updates from the Ireland Inter-Provincial Cup 2022 Game no. 7 between North West Warriors and Leinster Lightning from Woodvale Road, Eglinton.

Well, we can expect a run-fest here as the track looks like a really flat track provided with an average score of 275 batting first here. Pacers might get some help towards the latter half of the match while spinners may come in handy in the middle overs. Both of them will play against each other for the second time in this season of the Ireland Inter-Provincial ODD, Leinster Lightning came out on top by 7 wickets in their previous meeting.

North-West Warriors is currently placed at the bottom of the points table of this season of the Ireland Inter-Provincial ODD whereas Leinster Lightning is currently placed at the second spot on the points table.

North-West Warriors finally tasted their first win with a massive 145 runs win over Munster Reds. Andy McBrine’s powerful all-round performances sealed the game for them. They need to repeat similar performances on a consistent basis to move up in the points table. With one win and two losses, they are at the bottom of the standings with 5 points.

Leinster Lightning, on the other hand, have played two complete matches, winning one and losing the other one. Their 3rd fixture was washed away due to rain and they shared the points with Northern Knights. Harry Tector has been magnificent for them having struck two half-centuries already in this tournament and even skipper George Dockrell has made a huge impact with both bat and ball. They are placed at the 2nd spot in the standings with 6 points.

This is a tricky game for the table as it could well be a must-win situation here for the North-West Warriors if they want to make it to the Finals and a win for them could wide open the standings here for every team.

An exciting fixture awaits us as we get ready to rock-n-roll here in Eglinton.

Welcome to one and all, this is Nikhil Kalla alongside my co-commentators Chinmay and Akshay Bhide with our scorer/analyst Dushyant and Yogesh. We will be taking you forward today with all the happenings and updates from the ground alongside ball-to-ball commentary of this Game No. 7 from Eglinton.
