So that brings us to the end of this exciting contest between two good sides. Today it was Hampshire who sneaked away with the victory and they make their way towards the finals They will be facing Lancashire 30 minutes from now.Do join us on our network for the finals and for all the upcoming games from all around the globe. For now, this is me Hitesh Peddurwar signing off along with my co-commentator Ishan and scorer/Analyst Paras. Until then stay safe....
Tom Prest(Player of the Match): "Amazing to get into the finals after losing the semi-finals last year, Vince batted exceptinaly well at the top I had to play well in the middle and it's a good feeling that I took my team over the line."
James Vince(WInning Captain): "It's been 10 years since we won our last Trophy, after 10 overs we thought we will make 200 runs but pitch slowed up a bit, We have chased in the other games too but we have done well today defending the total, Hope so we will have a good final."
Tom Abell: "I think they scored 10 15 runs more We didn't have good partnerships in the middle , We had performed very well in the group stages and quarter-finals too, but unlucky today not heading towards finals. They bowled pretty well and put us under the pressure."

22.10 IST: Hampshire have won it by 37 runs and they are into the finals of Vitality T20 Blast 2022 where they will meet Lancashire.

They took the brave decision of batting first especially, after watching the first high-scoring affair semi-final where Lancashire chased down 205 runs with 8 balls to spare.

With the scintillating knock of young Tom Prest, they put 190 on the board which felt like 10-15 runs short after the first innings. However, in reply, Somerset didn't look settled from the start onwards, they kept on losing wickets at regular intervals.

Their big guns like Rossouw, skipper Abell, and Lammonby didn't convert the start they got and perished after playing a few good shots which eventually cost them a game.

For Hampshire, Nathan Ellis picked three wickets while  Chris Wood, Brad Wheal, Liam Dawson, and James Fuller also chipped in with a wicket each and made sure their 190 total on the board was safe enough to secure them a berth in the final. Hang in for the presentation.
19.3 N Ellis to P Siddle
W WICKETTT!!! That's it! Now we have got our finalists. Hampshire will join Lancashire in the finals later on this evening. Another slower delivery which is on a fuller length and on the off stump line. Siddle as other batters moves away from the line of the delivery and ends up missing it. He doesn't read the slower one and his stumps get rattled. Hampshire win by 37 runs and it will be a long evening for Somerset as they bow out of 2022's T20 Blast!

19.2 N Ellis to J Brooks
W WICKETTT!!! Slower ball straight through Brooks as Ellis picks up another wicket. It is on a length and on the middle and leg stump line. Pace off and nothing Brooks can do about it. He backs away and tries to play it through the off side but fails to read it and connect with that ball. The middle and leg pegs gets disturbed and the batting side are almost done here.
19.1 N Ellis to J Brooks
0 Nathan Ellis with the last over! Full and just down the leg side. Brooks stays away from the line of the ball and then misses the swing.

W WICKETTT!!! One more bites the dust. Full and straight on the middle stump line. Goldsworthy moves across the off stump and tries to go with a lap shot over the fine leg area. He completely misses it and gets hit on his stumps. Castled!
18.4 C Wood to L Goldsworthy
