What a game of cricket and a great low scoring encounter it has been as Durham won by 2 wickets in the final over.
Both the teams were in the game till the final over of the match but it was Durham who got home at last.
Skipper Trevaskis was the man who played a match winning innings of unbeaten 16 runs at the last to take his team to the victory line. But before that it was Neck Eckersley who made 46 runs having a partnership with Alexander Jones who got out on 36 runs which helped Durham to stay in the match while no other batters even reached to the double digits.
For Lancashire it was Richard Gleeson with his brilliant spell of 19 runs for 4 wickets that made this small run chase look so tough for Durham team.
But skipper Trevaskis hit the last nail in the coffin with the brilliant 19th over where he his a six and a four which turned the match completely in the favour of Durham.
