That's it, Hampshire beat Middlesex by 9 wickets. They chased down the total in just 12overs. They outplayed Middlesex in all the departments today and finally pick themselves up from the bottom of the points table and are back into a winning streak.

It was Ben McDermott and James Vince's show in the second innings. McDermott scored 83 runs off just 30 balls he was striking the ball very nicely and James Vince scored 54 runs off 37 balls. They both were in a mood to finish off the innings quickly. Hampshire got off to a flying start they scored 79 runs in the powerplay, Hampshire would be happy with the way they played today. Hampshire bowlers were very good with their line and lengths today, Dawson was the pick of the bowler for them he took 3 wickets and gave off just 14 runs of his 4 overs.

On the other hand, Middlesex bowlers were inconsistent with their line and lengths today, They were too short with their length which made it easy for the Hampshire batters to get over them. Middlesex posted a total of 142 runs on the board, Davies scored 34 runs off 27 balls and Holden scored 35 off 29 balls. Middlesex have lost three games in a row now. They would be hoping to bounce back in their next game.

Shashank: Hampshire who started off slowly this season by losing four on the trot have now won two games on the bounce and worries for Middlesex as they suffer their third loss in a row after winning three games in a row.
