Glenn Maxwell: "It was fun out there. Rossington took the game away and it became easier for us. When I came in, we needed run-a-ball. No chat here, we needed to show intent and we did that and Rossington did that. That was nice to get Lyth out and getting him out early was great. Loved being here. The crowds have been amazing. Great to see women playing before us. They will get more exposure to these big crowds. It helps the game. I loved my time here. The new crowd coming here is good. Good to see people enjoy themselves and enjoy the game. I think it's probably easy with our team. Trevor Bayliss is chilled so is Eoin Morgan and so it's been fun for us. It's been nice playing away from home. For me, these have been home games. Good to get the winning momentum and hope to carry it further going forward. I have enjoyed my time here."
Adam Rossington (Hero of the Match): "I think the bowlers did a spectacular job. We took the advantage of the powerplay as a solid base was needed. And was looking to go straight down the ground. We have a lot of guys coming from the bench but will miss Maxi. We are just trying to play with a positive mindset. Good performance from the bowlers to restrict them on that total. Fingers crossed for the Hundred in the next couple of games."

Thereafter, Glenn Maxwell stayed unbeaten on 43 off 25 balls to win the contest by 7 wickets. The other players just had a hit out there.

Earlier in the game, it was Faf du Plessis who won the toss and decided to bat first on a used surface. It was the skipper himself who led from the front while the others struggled at the other end. Faf made 56 off 35 balls. David Willey and Harry Brook struggled today while it was Adam Rose’s 30 off 14 balls and Michael Pepper’s 21 off 18 balls that propelled the Superchargers to get to 143-5 in 100 balls.
A couple of wickets for Mason Crane as he went for 23 runs
in 20 balls. Glenn Maxwell was brilliant with the ball at the start as he gave
away just 6 runs in 15 balls and picked up a wicket as well. Jordan Thompson picked
up the other wicket as he gave away 40 runs in 20 balls. Nathan Ellis kept it
tight as he gave away just 27 runs. The pacers were punished today while the
spinners kept it under check.

Maxwell picks that one up and gets that one just over the short fine leg fielder for a four here...Absolute domination from the London Spirit here at Leeds as they outdid the home side in a one-sided game. London Spirit beat Northern Superchargers by 7 wickets.
