So that's it then. It's a good bye from AkshayaKrishna Polya who was along with Badal Pareek and Anmol Ahuja. We will be back for the next game. Till then, it's cheers....!
Hamish Rutherford, Winning Skipper - " Max Chu done it for us and on debut McKenzie was outstanding. Yeah, it's our first win and we are happy for that. Spinners bowled well for us which was the turning point of the match."
Jeet Raval, Losing Skipper - " Yeah, it's nice to play full game without any delay or interruption. We were 20 runs short to be honest and our bowlers did pretty well to take this to last over. Looking forward for the next match."
Dream 11 Game Changer of the Match: Max Chu 10(5)* for his six that set the game for Volts - " It was nice to finish the game, I thought I could do it and in the end achieved the same. McKenzie in the end done pretty well on his debut. Happy for the team to win our first game this season."
Otago won the toss and opted to field, the Knights batters couldn't grab the opportunity in the middle and in the end to score big ended up scoring 146/8 in 20 overs. Katene Clarke scored 49 runs from 37 balls. For the Volts it was their spinners who stroke at regular intervals. Finnie and Rippon waved their magic twice in an over to restrict the Knights.

The knights started well in the powerplay by picking up two wickets early. But it was Broom who anchored this innings well by scoring 62 off 53 balls. Llew Johnson who played a much needed cameo of 25 runs off 13 balls which pull the game back in favor of Volts. Verma got back to back wickets in the crucial 19th over and left to Kuggeleijn to finish the job. But he couldn't keep his nerve and bowled two rank deliveries as Chu smoked one of them followed by McKenzie finishing it off in style.
So the Otago Volts beat Northern Knights by 3 wickets.
Mckenzie finishes it off in style with a maximum on debut. Otago win by 3 wickets.
19.4 S Kuggeleijn to A McKenzie
6 Six!! McKenzie on debut has done it for the Volts. Bowls this one short and down the leg. Swivels this over the fine leg for a match winning six.
19.3 S Kuggeleijn to M Chu
1 Short ball on leg and middle, Chu pulls this without any timing. It goes in the air and fell short of the diving short mid wicket fielder. They get an easy single.
Max Chu has brought this match under control with a maximum. Otago needs 3 runs from 4 balls.
19.2 S Kuggeleijn to M Chu
6 Six!! Is that the match? In the slot and gone. Chu you beauty. Bolws this at the stumps as he misses the yorker, Chu slogs this over the square leg boundary for a huge six. Cool and calm as he hits it for a six.
19.1 S Kuggeleijn to A McKenzie
1 A good yorker at the stumps, McKenzie jams it away to long on for a single.
Otago needs 10 runs off 6 balls. Kuggeleijn has a chance to be the hero for the Knights.

2 Two runs. Fuller at the pads, flicks to square leg and off for two runs. It was tight second but Chu dives and make it in the end easily.
Verma has done wonders for his team by picking up two wickets in the penultimate over. Otago needs 12 runs off 7 balls with two new batters at the crease.
