Rohit: A thumping 62-run win for Deccan Gladiators. 141 target was always going to be difficult against this quality bowling line-up but 4 wickets in first 4 overs totally broke the back of Tigers' batting. Then it was a mountain to climb for them. Faf and Udana formed a small partnership but it was too little too late. The man who has done bulk of damage, was Wanindu Hasaranga (2-1-8-5) who became only 3rd bowler to pick a fifer in T10 game. In the match he twice got a chance to get a hat-trick. In his 2nd over he picked 3 wickets without conceding a single run. For Tigers, Udana and du Plessis were only two batters to go into double figures. Earlier in the match it was Tom Kohler-Cadmore's terrific knock of 96(39) who single handedly took Gladiators' score to 140. This win takes Deccan Gladiators to top of the table.
Mohammaed Amir was injured in the first innings as a rebounding ball struck him at the knee. Therefore he won't be coming to bat and the Tigers declare.
