So thank you for your time, but we'll soon be back with the coverage of the Northern Warriors and Chennai Braves which starts within a few minutes. Until then, do stay tuned to OneCricket for further live updates!
Liam Livingstone's quickfire knock of 59 from 24 deliveries wins him the Player of the Match Award!

So that’s that and it’s Team Abu Dhabi that has secured the win by eight runs!

Batting first Abu Dhabi got to an intimidating total of 125-4. Paul Stirling’s poor run of form with the bat carried on as he got dismissed for not by Wahab Riaz. Philip Salt did get a start for himself and scored 22 from nine deliveries. Salt was later sent back to the dugout after getting bowled to Odean Smith. It was then the Liam Livingstone show, as he powered himself to a scintillating 59 of 24 deliveries. The Abu Dhabi captain struck three fours and six sixes during his time on the crease. Tymal Mills eventually got his man, as well as Chris Gayle who departed for a meager score of 12 from 13 deliveries. Colin Ingram ended the innings on a positive note for his side and compiled 25 runs from 11 deliveries.

The run chase got off to a poor start as Tom Kohler Cadmore was bowled on the very first delivery by Sheldon Cottrell. Tom Moores scored a breezy 16 off nine before Cottrell bagged his second wicket of the game. Najeebulla Zadran managed to just score four and was dismissed by Naveen ul Haq. However, Anwar Ali did cause some problems for the Gladiators with his big-hitting ability. The Pakistani international scored 42 runs from just 20 balls before gloving it back to the keeper in Marchandt de Lange’s over. David Wiese did add a bit of pressure with his 10 ball 27, but was run out by the keeper in the penultimate over. Wanindu Hasaranga played an unbeaten knock of 14* from four, but couldn’t manage to get his side over the line.

The Gladiators did display grit with the bat in the second innings, but it wasn't meant to be. Team Abu Dhabi will be please with their efforts in the field, as a few run-outs played a pivotal role in swinging the pendulum towards their favor!
