So that’s that, and it’s the Team Abu Dhabi that just manages to get over the line in what was a cracker of an affair!
Batting first, the Deccan Gladiators posted a total of 97/9 in 10 overs.
It was a poor start to the first innings, as the Gladiators lost five wickets for a score of under 20. Fidel Edwards wreaked havoc and dismissed both Tom Banton and Tom Moore for not in the very first over. T Kohler Cadmore only managed to score seven before Naveen ul Haq got into the act. Hasaranga de Silva did show some resilience and played a knock of 30 from 18 deliveries before getting run out to Phil Salt at a crucial juncture. Naveen ul Haq soon followed it up by getting the dangerous Andre Russell out for a golden duck.
OF Smih was the standout with the bat for the Gladiators and stormed his way to 34 of 11, as he gave his side a fighting chance.
As for the second innings, Team Abu Dhabi also started off
in a shaky manner. Paul Stirling was out
on the very first ball to Wahab Riaz. Phil Salt also got out cheaply for two, as
Team Abu Dhabi was rocked at 9/2. Liam Livingstone and Colin Ingram accumulated a 31 run
stand before Hasaranga got the better of both batsmen in consecutive
deliveries. Hasaranga tightened the screws until the very last over. Abu
Dhabi needed 14 off the final over and just about scraped it on the final delivery.
Craig Overton’s knock of 33 from 18, and six off the final ball sealed the deal
for Team Abu Dhabi. DR Briggs played a valuable 19 from 13 balls from the other end.
In spite of Abu Dhabi's win, Hasaranga proved to be class again with his spell of 4/12 in two overs.
To sum it up, it's Team Abu Dhabhi that have registered a win on the final ball, and four wickets to spare.

Briggs hits the Good length delivery behind the square as he picks that up and smashes that one towards the deep fine leg and Russell just can't finish the the job on the fence.
