So that's it for this game, we will soon be back with the live coverage of Warriors vs Abu Dhabi. Until then, stay tuned to OneCricket!
Tom Moores knock of 47* of 17 earns him the Player of the Match!

So it’s the Deccan Gladiators that will be walking away with maximum points. Batting first, the Gladiators posted an intimidating total of 146/7.

Kohler Cadmore was dismissed early for six by Lakshan after getting caught at the deep. Tom Banton did contribute reasonably well with a knock of 24 from 11 deliveries. Just when it looked like Banton was settling in, he got caught at mid-off by a sublime catch taken by Campher during Shanaka’s spell.   Munaf Patel also chipped in with a wicket of Anwar Ali, but that’s where things changed significantly.  TJ Moores and Andre Russell accumulated a 96 runs stand of just 32 deliveries to get their side to the match-winning target.

TJ Moores scored a breezy 47* of 17, whereas Andre Russel stormed his way to 43* of 17.

Talking about the second innings, it was a horror start for the Chennai Braves as they lost two wickets in a space of six balls. Wahab Riaz dismissed Mohammad Shahzad and P. Rajapaksa for four and not respectively. Interestingly, the third and fourth wicket of the innings fell in the final over that was bowled by O.Smith. AK Perera and Ravi Bopara impressed with a half-century each.  AK Perera struck a quickfire 60 of 29, while, Ravi Bopara played an unbeaten knock of 51* from 26 balls.

In spite of the heroics of the two batters, the Chennai Braves fell short by 24 runs.

It was a decent fightback by the Braves, but it was the monstrous hitting of TJ Moores and Andre Russell in the first innings that proved to be the difference!

9.2 O Smith to A Perera
W In the air and holed out to the sprinting fielder from cow corner. On the full following the  batter as he cramps for room this time. The batter gets the impact done from the inside part of the bat and digs it down to the safe pair of hands of Cadmore.
9.1 O Smith to R Bopara
