Thanks for joining us for the live coverage of the 3 game ODI Series between South Africa and Bangladesh, congratulations to the Tigers for their historic win over the hosts, This was Saurabh Saket alongside my co-commentators Badal Pareek and Ajay Ahire. Stay with us as we bring you updates from all across the globe. Until then stay safe and stay tuned.
Tamim Iqbal (Winning Captain): "See I am a very proud man. Especially Bangladeshi fast bowler getting 5 fer and winning man of the series that's great. Fast bowlers are making their name in a spin-friendly county like Bangladesh so it's been a great achievement for us. it's one of the greatest wins in the history of our cricket but this win has to be at the top. We take ODI cricket with pride as we have a very good side in this format and we are winning it consistently so that's quite an achievement for us. Shakib is a fighter his family members are in hospital but he still continues playing for a country that is great from Shakib. Talking about the crowd it feels like a mini Dhaka here and I would like to thank the fans for supporting us here. We did great at New Zealand in test cricket and will look to replicate the performance here."
Temba Bavuma | Losing Captain: "I think Bangladesh were the better outfit, they showed how to bat, bowl and in the field. They had the intensity, we need to work a lot and go back to the drawing board. We were outplayed. I think the standard and intensity with which we played against India was the next level. But we were not just good enough in this 3-match ODI series. I can't use that as an excuse, I cannot judge our processes. We weren't good enough across all the three departments, that's all what I can say. We need some points to qualify for the World Cup. Against India, we had taken a couple of steps forward. We still have games and we have opportunities to get those points."
Taskin Ahmed | Player of the Match | Player of the Series: I'm feeling happy and proud as we have won for the first time in South Africa. This is also my first Player of the Series award. I have been following the same process in the last one and a half year, I followed the same process today and hopefully I will continue. My captain supports me in every match and gives me a particular role, I just try to follow that. I have been working on my length and just trying to follow the basics. Still have to learn how to bowl on flat and slow wickets."
Saket: This is historic for Bangladesh as they have thrashed South African on their home ground by nine wickets to win this series 2-1. What a dominant performance from the Bangla Tigers as they were all over their opponents from the start to the finish in this contest.

Bangladesh had a fiery start to the innings as Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das took the South African bowlers to the cleaners in the first twenty overs of the game and pulled the game in their grasp with a 127 runs partnership for the first wicket. Tamim was all over the bowlers from the start to the finish of the game and remained unbeaten in the run chase.

Keshav Maharaj brought an end to the partnership as he dismissed Das just two runs before his half-century but it was too late for the Proteas as the visitors were on the verge of making history. The veteran Shakib Al Hasan was the next batter onto the crease and he together with Tamim stitched an unbeaten 29 runs partnership to help Bangladesh chase down the total with 20 overs remaining to lift their first trophy against South Africa in an away tour.

Bangladesh wrapped up the South African innings on 154 runs in 37 overs. This was not a great outing for the home side in this decider of this three-match series, with the home side scoring their lowest ever total against Bangladesh in the one-day internationals. Taskin Ahmed picked up the 5 wicket haul in the first innings and was the star of the show in the first innings at Centurion. Earlier in the day after winning the toss, the Proteas opted to bat first in this decider at Centurion.

They got off to a good start courtesy of some sparkling shots from both the openers. Then skipper Tamim brought Mehidy Hasan into the attack and he successfully picked up the wicket of De Kock on the score of 12 as he mistimed that one straight into the hands of long-off. Verreynne who came out to bat at number 3 departed on the score of 9 as he dragged that one on the stumps off the bowling of Taskin Ahmed.

Jannaman Malan who got off to a great start couldn't continue his dominance as he nicked one behind to the keeper on the score of 39. Shakib Al Hasan came into the play and picked up the wicket of skipper Temba Bavuma on the score of 2 as he found plumbed in front of the week wickets. Rassie Van Der Dussen who looked in great shape in the last game lost his wicket as the extra bounce from Shoriful Islam did it for him.

David Miller and Dwayne Pretorius got the starts but they failed to capitalize on them as both of them departed on the score of 16 and 20 respectively off the bowling of Taskin. The bowler completed his 5 wicket haul as he got the wicket of Kagiso Rabada with a score of 4 runs on the tally. Maharaj scored a handy 28 in the end but he lost a wicket, in the end, courtesy of an unwanted fumble between the wickets. to end the innings at 154 runs.
