Nathan Coulter-Nile, Man of the Match- Just trying to keep simple. Really hard wicket to bat on. We bowled really well. I think the longer you bowl the hard lengths it's better. We talked about using the wicket and it worked today. I can bowl whenever. We have world-class bowlers and I hope they can pick a few more wickets to get my job easier.
Rohit Sharma, MI skipper- We had to come here and do what he needed to do. Once we got them under 90 we realised we had a chance to up ur run rate. No look this is important to seize the game and when we get them to 90 we needed to express ourselves. We were lagging behind in the run rate and this was the perfect game to do that.

Ofcourse Kishan is playing after a couple of games. Needed to bid his time. I took risk at the start. He has the ability to clear the ground. Just wanted to spend some time in the middle and go after and that was exactly what he did.

I mean I have to ask Jimmy if he will look to have another session with the boys. He is a nice guy and keeps on charging the boys. All the guys going after that. Look when you are under the radar it is important to do the job silently. We have been on and off. Collectively we weren't gelling together which we needed exceptionally well today.

Not really to be honest. I feel in this tournament any team has the ability to beat any team at a given point in time. KKR is playing before us which gives us a chance to know exactly what we need to do in the final game.

Arya: Earlier in the day it was was set up perfectly by the MI bowlers as they kept Rajasthan Royals to just 90 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Nathan Coulter-Nile bagged four while Jimmy Neesham playing his first game this season bagged three.

Barring the opening duo of Yashashvi Jaiswal and Evin Lewis, none of the batters could adjust to the pitch and kept falling prey. A 91 runs target was never going to challenge MI. It is a statement made by the defending champions. They still have a glimmer of hope to retain their championship.
Arya: Coming back to the match, it was Chetan Sakariya wh got the wicket of Rohit Sharma but Suryakumar Yadav came out all guns blazing and found the boundary in the very first ball. Ishan Kishan kept gaining in confidence and started smoking the RR bowlers all around the part.

He eventually smashed a four and a six to take his side home and also reach his maiden half-century this season. Mumbai Indians have given their NRR a big boost but still they are well behind KKR and will still need them to lose against RR to harbour hopes of booking a place in the playoffs.
Ishan Kishan- Obviously it is nice opening the batting and winning by a big margin. Much needed for our tea to get back to the momentum. I think it was good to field first. We got a good idea about it. Our plan was to play as straight as possible. We knew the ball was not coming on. The bounce wasn't there and the batsmen executed very well.

I think see I feel ups and downs is a big part for every sportsman and it was the same with me. We had a great supporting staff and a captain. I had a chat with Virat Bhai, Hardik Bhai. I had a chat with KP as well. I watched my videos and that gave me a lot of confidence.

I know there has been we have talking about KKR need to lose the last game. We have to be prepared for the next game and play with the same energy as we played today. The energy among the people was very special.
Sanju Samson, Rajasthan Royals skipper- It was a bit challenging to wicket to bat on. The first innings was more difficult than the second innings. Massive difference in the wicket. Definitely very different to Abu Dhabi. It was one of the best wickets for batting.

Switching onto Sharjah was a bit tough for us. I think its a bit cloudy in the mind. Need to take some time off and play better in the next game. We knew they will be coming strong and the wicket was a bit better than the first innings but they batted really well.
Arya: The run chase was never going to be a difficult one for MI. Skipper Rohit Sharma started off in an aggressive manner collecting 14 runs from the very first over. Ishan Kishan played a maiden to start with but with Rohit's dismissal, he took the onus on himself to take the RR bowlers to the cleaners. He played some top class shots and reached his fifty in the final delivery of the match.
Arya: Ishan Kishan has roared back to form with a sensational half-century as he takes MI home with nearly 9 overs to spare. More work to do still with KKR still having a way superior net run rate than the defending champions. Quite an astonishing performance. This clearly shows the capability of the team and why they are the most successful team in the history of the tournament.
8.2 M Rahman to I Kishan
6 SIXXX!!! That will do nicely for the Mumbai Indians as they thrash RR comprehensively. Banged in short to Kishan who waits for it and pulls it over the cow corner ropes for a maximum.
8.1 M Rahman to I Kishan
4 These are easy pickings for a player of his stature. Another full toss outside off to Ishan Kishan who throws his kitchen sink at it and beats the deep point fielder for a boundary.
