Shubman Gill is the Man of the Match- It was important to keep wickets in hand early. And then to go for it when the runs got closer. You see the wicket and then you choose your match up. To hit spinners on this surface isn't easy.
I was targeting the shorter side mostly. I didn't have much runs under my belt. And if you play one bad shot in a low-scoring game the opposition can come back. So the batsman needs to try and take the game home.
When you play in North India, wickets are not as bouncy. You play with the wrists a lot. So I use them a lot. Umran Malik was definitely quick.

Eoin Morgan- The wicket played slower than we thought, than the wicket two nights ago. It swings early in the powerplay in these conditions, but it was sluggish. We needed to bowl and field well and we did. Shubman played extremely well and led the chase.
The depth of the squad to be able to call Shakib is a huge luxury, so he has had a huge impact.We didn't know it wouldn't be played in India, and we have done well in the conditions and adapted well.
We are focused on playing good cricket and we've done that in the last three weeks. The game plan has had a good impact in the dressing room and guys are putting their hands up. We have done well to adapt to the slow conditions and I'm happy with that.

Arya: It was Jason Holder who bagged the wicket of Venkatesh Iyer while Rashid Khan accounted for the man in form Rahul Tripathi. It was some brilliant bowling in the middle overs KKR scored at less than five runs per over till the 10th over when Gill eventually took things on his hands and started making merry as he kept finding the boundaries on a consistent basis.
Nitish Rana shared a good partnership with him and played second fiddle to him. Gill and Rana both were dismissed eventually with KKR within touching distance of the victory target. Former skipper Dinesh Karthik started off with a flowing boundary and remained unbeaten on 18 to seal the deal for his team.

Dinesh Karthik- We knew the chase would be slightly tricky. We were at a stage when I could play my shots when I walked inReal good game of cricket. Really good for the players who have watched it. No I was practising a lot when I was doing some commentary. One of those where I got a bit lucky.
It was a stage where I could play the shots. This is not a track where you take the game deep so I was conscious about that. I think you need to be flexible.

Kane Williamson, SRH skipper- We should have got closer to the 150 mark. Such a tough work defending such a small total. As a batting unit we have to identify good scores. We have pushed too hard at times which hasn't really worked for us.

Arya: The target of 116 was never going to challenge KKR in all likelihood. However the SRH bowlers gave their best taking the match to the final over. For the first time after the resumption of the tournament, Venkatesh Iyer was dismissed on single digit as the slowness of the pitch did him. Shubman Gill started sedately but took the matters in his own hands in the middle overs finding boundaries at will to minimise the equation.
Arya: Dinesh Karthik finishes it off in an emphatic fashion and KKR get over the line. Made things a bit difficult for themselves in the fag end of the match, but in the end a much-deserved victory by 6 wickets and keep their hopes of qualifying for the playoffs intact. They retain their 4th position in the points table but is two points clear of Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians.
