So that's goodbye from me, Arjun Bhalla and my partners Anurag Singh and Arya Sekhar Chakraborty from the comm box. Do join us in few hours for the next CPL fixture, which is between St Lucia and Jamaica. See you on the other side.
Kieron Pollard | Winning captain: Well done to the boys. We were struggling at the halfway stage of the tournament but we knew where we had to improve. This is the business end of the tournament and we have to nail down all the areas. They (SNP) are a good team with world class players, but it is about focusing on what we need to do and once we do that we will give ourselves a good chance. Our focus is on getting the two points in the next game and not thinking too far ahead, but when the time comes we are going to be ready. We have been consistent; win, lose or draw, we get together and there are some great things to celebrate today. Congrats to all the guys who have been selected, everyone has worked hard and hopefully we go there and give a good account of ourselves as defending champions (referring to West Indies' T20 World Cup squad announcement).
Jason Holder | Losing captain: I think the toss was very crucial. There was a lot of moisture. It still played difficult as the Knight Riders also took 17 overs to chase down the total. It has been a tough campaign so far but the boys are still in good spirits. They had two very good left arm spinners and the conditions supported them.
Khary Pierre | Player of the Match: It is good to contribute to the win. The bowlers went out there and executed the plan. Very happy to come out victorious. I am happy that I was able to bowl in the right areas and get the rewards. It is always good to win, we will enjoy and celebrate tonight.
Khary Pierre gets Player of the Match award.

One can always argue that Mohammad Amir opened the game by taking both the openers up top, one of them was the in-form Lendl Simmons. However, still, it was a one-sided affair for the defending champions as TKR sealed the game by six wickets with 19 balls remaining

It all began when Kieron Pollard called right at the toss to opt to field first. His aggressive decision was proved correct by his bowlers. Both spinners and pacers were up to the mark in the first innings as they restricted Barbados on 93 runs.

The chase was always gonna be easy peasy for a batting line-up like Trinbago. Although the former Pakistan international spiced up things in the chase, when he made Simmons nick off to the keeper on the first ball, before removing Webster on 9 inside three overs. Leaving TKR at 22 for 2 in 2.5 overs.

However, the same old tale repeated for the Royals as no one aided Amir’s brilliance, not even the skipper Holder. A couple of decisions also went towards the defending champions, all thanks to some basic fielding efforts and ordinary umpiring.

Darren Bravo and Colin Munro grinded the bowlers by knocking the ball around, before Bishop removed the former. But the Kiwi stemmed a match-clinching partnership of 24, alongside his mate from New Zealand - Tim Siefert, before the latter was removed by Bishop. But Akeal Hosien came out to wham two successive sixers to take his team to the top of the table.

Two back to back sixers and Akeal Hosein takes Trinbago Knight Riders home. First with the ball and now with the ball, he is a true match-winner. However, the real credit for this chase should go to Colin Munro and his knock of 41 not out.
16.5 J Bishop to A Hosein
6 SIXX!! That will do it nicely for the Knight Riders. Quick and full again on the stumps, Akeal gets down on one knee and slogs it deep into the mid wicket stands and winning the game for his side by 6 wickets.
16.4 J Bishop to A Hosein
6 SIXX!! In the arc of Akeal and it disappears out of the park. Pitched up around off, Akeal moves his front leg aside and smacks it over long on for a maximum.
16.3 J Bishop to A Hosein
0 Quicker one on the off, Akeal rocks back and taps it straight to extra cover.
16.2 J Bishop to C Munro
