That's it from the presentation ceremony. And with that we conclude our coverage for the second ODI game of this exciting series. Till the next time, it's a ta-ta and a goodnight from me, Anurag Dasgupta and my co-commentators, Anurag Singh and Arjun Bhalla.
Shikhar Dhawan | India captain: It felt that the wicket today was much better and we restricted them to a good score. The spinner fought back and the bowlers adjusted their lines and lengths when their batsmen were in. We didn't start well and it is a good learning lesson for the youngsters that everyday is not the same. They will understand how to handle these situations and how to bring in new strategies. The way Manish Pandey and Suryakumar were batting, we thought they would take us home. Hard luck to Pandey for the way he got out. The way Krunal fought in the middle was amazing. Everyone showed character. We knew that Chahar has worked hard in the nets on his batting. His presence of mind and calculations against the leg-spinner was amazing. Both Bhuvi and him calculated it really well. I felt the way Sri Lanka planned their innings in both their batting and bowling was amazing. The way they batted and fielded was good to watch. They worked really hard, but glad that we are on the winning side. Every game is a learning lesson and we hope to analyze and get better. We want to put up a good show all the time.
Dasun Shanaka | Sri Lanka captain: I'm really proud of how the boys played today. They fought hard to get a win. Really tough game, credit to the Indian players, especially Deepak who took the game away from us. I think we started really well today. The middle period we lost wickets; I think the thing we shouldn't do in the next game is give them easy wickets. We should bat well until the last powerplay. I didn't bowl for a long time because there were enough bowlers in the team, but I took a chance today.
Deepak Chahar | Man of the Match: It was hot there, we did well there. Got two wickets. We managed to stop them at 270. It was a decent score [to chase] on this wicket. Only one thing that was going on in my mind: this is the kind of innings I've been dreaming of. No better way to win the match for the country. Rahul sir told me to play all the balls. I've played a few innings with India A and I think he has belief in me. He told me he thinks I'm good enough to be a No. 7. He has belief in me. Hopefully in the coming matches I don't have to bat. When we came under 50 is when I believed we can win. Before that it was ball by ball. I took some risks after.
Time for the presentation ceremony.
DG: Suryakumar played a gritty knock of 53, but he perished at the hands of Sandakan and left India in a precarious situation. At one stage of the game, India looked down and out, but Deepak Chahar had some other plans. He played the innings of his life and notched up his maiden ODI fifty under immense pressure. In the end, a run-a-ball 84 run stand for the eighth wicket between Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar takes India past the victory line with 5 balls to spare.
DG: Chasing a stiff target of 276, India started on an attacking mode. Both Prithvi Shaw and skipper Shikhar Dhawan decided to take on the Sri Lankan bowling attack right from the word go. But the Lankan skipper Dasun Shanaka used his trump card very early and introduced Wanindu Hasaranga inside the first 6 overs. The move paid dividend as the leg spinner castled Prithvi Shaw's stumps and gave his side the first breakthrough. Ishan Kishan followed him back to the pavilion and India were in a slight spot of bother when they lost Dhawan on 29. At 65/3, team India were in a tricky situation when the duo of Manish Pandey and Suryakumar Yadav steadied the sinking ship. They continued the attacking approach and never let the required rate climb over 6 runs per over. However, Indian middle order crumbled and they lost both Manish Pandey and Hardik Pandya in quick succession.
DG: That’s it, the match has ended and India have crawled back from the jaws of defeat to beat the Lankan Lions by 3 wickets and take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series. Deepak Chahar was the star of the show, smashing his maiden ODI fifty to steer team India past the victory line here at Colombo. The Indian dugout is ecstatic and so they should be.
Arjun: Deepak Chahar does an MSD to win the game for India. The visiting derby has pulled a famous victory here. India takes the series with a three-wicket win.
49.1 K Rajitha to D Chahar
4 FOURR!! Chahar finishes things off in style. Brilliant by these two doing the impossible. Back of a length onto Chahar who hoicks this in the vacant cow corner and fetches a boundary.
Arjun: 3 off 6 balls now. The game is almost done now with that boundary. Mickey Arthur is disgusted, "Rahul Dravid is all smiling". True story!
DG: That should be the final nail in the coffin. Game is 'ALMOST' done and dusted.

48.6 D Chameera to B Kumar
4 FOURR!!! Bhuvi capitalises on the width and gets a boundary, Length way outside off to Bhuvi who flirts with the width offered and the ball takes an outside edge between gully and short third man for another boundary.
48.5 D Chameera to D Chahar
1 Length and width offered again and this time Chahar takes a single of the long off fielder. Possibly a free hit for Bhuvi.
48.4 D Chameera to D Chahar
2 Back of a length on off to Chahar who absolutely slaps this to the sweeper cover and collects a couple of the misfield.
48.3 D Chameera to D Chahar
0 Another edge but this time the keeper collects. An off-cutter on off takes an outside edge to the keeper, landing just short of him.
DG: 10 required now. Things are getting spicy here.
48.2 D Chameera to D Chahar
4 FOURR!! Edged and boundary. Fortune favours the brave and the equation gets easier. Length and width offered to Chahar who throws his bat to it and gets a thickish outside edge past the short third man.
48.1 D Chameera to B Kumar
1 Length delivery outside off to Bhuvi who moves inside and nudges this to leg side for a crucial single.
