And that's goodbye from the comm box. I Arjun Bhalla bid adieu on the behalf of my partners Karthik Raj and Arijit Kundu. See you all tomorrow as the PSL is rushing towards its business end. Tomorrow, we would be having Karachi Kings taking on Islamabad United. Until then, it's goodbye.
Rizwan | Multan Sultans captain: "Have few things to improve on like our fielding. There's swelling in my leg around the calf. Hopefully will recover in time. Pitch looked good, had a talk with the batsmen that if we bat deep it'll get easier with dew coming in as well."
Dhani | Player of the Match: "There was lots of dew, and Azhar Mehmood told us to keep that in mind when I bowled. I rushed through the first over, but I knew whenever the momentum swings, things can go your way very quickly. The captain kept encouraging me and that paid off."
Shahnawaz Dahani is the Player of the Match for his spell of four for 31 in the first half of the match.
Wahab Riaz | Peshawar Zalmi captain: Didn't execute our plans well. We were 10-15 short but I still think it was a fighting total. Dew did impact the game - ball came on nicely but take nothing away from there. If we had bowled in good areas, result would've been different. We don't have to think about this game, just a bad day at the office. Have to move forward. What's done is done.
Arjun: When the second innings began, Rizwan came out with Masood. The duo started with some fireworks, however, the chief destroyer was the skipper himself. Soon, Masood left his captain alone in the middle as he was dismissed by Mohammad Irfan in the fourth over. Rizwan, who was already struggling, took the bowlers off their skins. He was unstoppable and got aided by Maqsood. They shared a rocking partnership of 116 for the second wicket and almost took their side over the line, before Imran scalped the Number 3 on 61. However, the skipper remained unbeaten on 82 as his Sultans took a delightful win over Zalmi.
Arjun: Mohammad Rizwan won the toss and invited his oppositions to bat first. To make his decision right, the faster bowlers started well, Dahani brilliantly took four wickets in the first innings, while Imran Tahir was economical as usual. However, Zalmi recovered from a crumbling state on 88-4 (in 11 overs), and ended on 166-7, courtesy of a special knock by Sherfane Rutherford. The young gun for the West Indian took each and every bowler but his dearest enemy became Blessing who was hammered for 17 runs in the 17th over.
What a special effort it was from Mohammad Rizwan and his company as they have sealed the deal with 21 balls to spare. In the end, Multan Sultans have won by eight wickets remaining.

W Imran gets his man eventually!! Short delivery, Imran miscues the pull shot to fine-leg where Umaid Asif judges it superbly and takes the catch.
Arijit: Seems like Maqsood is in a hurry to finish things off here in the Sheikh Zayed stadium.
16.1 M Imran to S Maqsood
6 Massive from Maqsood!! Slow and short, Maqsood backs away and lofts it over wide long-on for a maximum!!
