Tim Southee: It was a relatively inexperienced side, but to put up a performance like that was very pleasing. Was pleasing to see Will play so well and also Devon carrying on what he has done at this level. It's great to see guys come out and performing like this. There are a number of guys knocking on the door who are coming out and performing well at this level, that's a great sign for New Zealand. It's always nice to have to those runs on the board. It's not easy coming back from a stress fracture like that, so he (Ferguson) might have gained some confidence bowling those four overs.

Mahmudullah: Bowlers bowled quite well, the youngster (Nasum Ahmed) bowled well on his debut. Once again, we have let ourselves in the batting dept, kept losing wickets in clusters. We need to pick ourselves up in the second game. He's (Conway) in very good touch, he has been batting really well. We need to find a way to restrict him. 190 was a good score here to chase, we conceded few more boundaries. But batting unit has to click. Ish is an experienced campaigner, the ball was gripping a little bit. We can't make the same mistakes again and again.

Devon Conway : Pretty happy with the way things went today. Happy days. You can be really positive, just came off for me. With Youngy (Will Young), it was awesome to bat with him. Pretty good day with the bat. For me, it's about watching the ball and sticking to the basics. Try and stick to that as much as possible. Sometimes when I try to reverse-sweep or sweep, I premeditate.

Devon Conway has been named as the 'Player of the Match'

The lower middle-order duo of Afif Hossain and Mohammad Saifuddin brought some respectability to the innings with a 63-run partnership. Afif, in particular, impressed with 45 off 33 balls. While Bangladesh have a lot of concerns, Tim Southee got the chance to bowl some overs of Mark Chapman and Glenn Phillips. Lockie Ferguson also bowled pretty well in his comeback game while Hamish Bennett fared well during the death overs

What a comprehensive win for New Zealand. They have sealed a 66-run victory in the first of the three T20Is. Bangladesh were never in the game after conceding 210 runs but they could have definitely reduced the margin of defeat. The visitors got off to a bad start as Liton Das fell in the third over. Opener Naim Sheikh looked in some nice touch but Lockie Ferguson got the better of him. Thereafter, Bangladesh suffered a collapse as they were quickly reduced to 59/6 with Ish Sodhi taking all the four wickets
