That's all for the coverage of this thrilling game. Catch you in half an hour for the coverage of the second Men's Hundred game of the day, which features Northern Superchargers and Welsh Fire. Time for me, Anurag Dasgupta to say a goodbye to you all. My co-commentators Arjun Bhalla and Anurag Singh will walk you through the live coverage of the second match.
James Vince | The losing captain: Right from the start (things went wrong). Our performance wasn't ideal but the occasion itself was enjoyable. We will improve quickly and come back in the next game. We didn't get going in the batting department, not enough partnerships and credit to their bowlers. We lacked to get any momentum going and we knew we were under par at the halfway mark.
Lewis Gregory | Winning captain: It was a pretty nice way to start the tournament. I thought we were good with the ball and kept down to a below par total and then to see Malan spend some time out in the middle with D'Arcy, they took us over the line. The lads are fantastic. Lot of experience around and it helps having the England Test captain. He (de Lange) has bowled well for Somerset and he has replicated that tonight. It does feel a little bit of rush at times, when you want to think and slow things down, you can't do that, we have some spinners and can rush through the overs.
Marchant de Lange | Player of the Match - Really delighted, I must say, unexpected, but really happy. Always good to take a wicket with your first ball. I just felt the surface was good, a little bit of bounce, that was good for me as a fast bowler. It was a bit strange, new tournament, but I just needed to adapt and stick to the basics. Hopefully, we can carry this form through.
Time for the presentation ceremony.
Earlier in the day, Southern Brave won the toss and elected to bat first on a belter of a wicket. However, they got off to a worse possible start, losing James Vince for a naught. The danger man, Devon Conway never really quite settled in and departed for just 18. Merchant de Lange was the star with the ball in hand, as he blew away the Brave with some fiery stuffs and bagged a fifer. He was amply supported by the other bowlers as Trent Rockets restricted the Brave to a below par total of 126.
DG: Chasing a paltry total of 127, Rockets were off to a horrendous start, losing an in-form Alex Hales for a golden duck. Southern Brave saw this as an opportunity to crawl back into the game, but all their hopes were dashed by the duo of Short and Malan, who made a light work of this total. James Vince tried all his bowling combination, but they simply failed in front of the two dashing left-handers. Both Short and Malan played some exquisite strokes and notched up their respective fifty's to steer Rockets past the victory line.
DG: That's the end of the match and Trent Rockets have won this game in some style. A thoroughly convincing victory and the Rockets have won this game by 9 wickets. A target of 127 was never going to trouble the star-studded batting lineup of the team from Nottingham.
82b L Dawson to D Short

81b L Dawson to D Short
6 SIXX!! Brings up his fifty in style. Tossed up around off to Short who clobbers this over long on with some power for a maximum.
