Anurag S: Barbados pride started off brilliantly with the bowl getting 8 wickets for just 88 and then Odean Smith, the young fast bowler hit his best batting figure of unbeaten 68 that took the scorpion to 217, a good fighting total. In return, Barbados started off decently scoring over 5 runs an over till the 20th with the loss of just 1 wicket. Hope was elegant and dominated the bowlers until he was dismissed by Fabian Allen. After his dismissal, the wickets started tumbling and Andre McCarthy's spell just turned this game on its head. Taking 5 wickets in his last three overs he was the stand out performer and Man of the Match in this enthralling match.
What an end to the match. Jamaican Scorpions go into the semi-finals. Incredible turnaround by the Scorpion's spinners. Holder would be disappointed with the batting performance by the lower middle order. What an exceptional performance by Andre Mccarthy.
