Milestone
With this win, Windward Islands are almost into the semifinals as they have won two out of three games. The Scorpians, on the other hand, has a lot to reflect upon having three consecutive losses. Arjun: A solid... solid dominant performance from the Windward Islands Volcanoes in this clash against the Jamaica Scorpions to end their hopes of the latter for the knockouts!! It was genuinely a clinical day at the office for Sunil Ambris' side where they put up 260 runs on the board and then defended the total in a brutal fashion. It all started when Preston McSween got Brandan King, then Larry Edwards chipped in with three wickets in his first three overs. The only duo that showed some resistance for the Scorpians were Andre McCarthy and Fabian Allen, the duo shared 69 runs in between them but neither any player before them nor anyone after them applied themselves to the conditions. In the middle overs, Ryan John took two wickets, while Obed McCoy and Keron Cottoy got a wicket each, but the glory sealer was Andre Fletcher who chipped in with two scalps with his part-time wrist spin to seal the deal for the Volcanoes. In the end, the Jamaica Scorpions wind up on a total of 168 runs and they have got crashed by the Volcanoes by 92 runs.
