Akshay: It was Pooran who won the toss and put Devils in to bat. The Devils got off to flying start as Davies and Kohler-Cadmore got them to a flying start in the powerplay. But Wahab Riaz removed Kohler-Cadmore in the third over and this opened the gates for the Warriors they needed. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Kennar Lewis and Davies looked good but couldn’t capitalize on the starts. Nasir Hossain stayed till the end and ensured that they get close to 100. Wayne Parnell was sensational with the ball for Warriors picking 3 wickets giving away only 5 runs.

Akshay: The chase began as Waseem and King belted the Devils bowlers all over the park. Waseem in particular went berserk as he smashed 35 runs of the second over of Monir Hossain. 52 runs were scored in the mandatory powerplay and they decided to take the floating powerplay straightaway. 19 were scored in that over as 71 runs were scored in first 3 overs. The Devils had no answers to both of them as some sensational hitting was on display. King departed in the 4th over to Sam Wisniewski, as the youngster picked Pooran too in the same over. But Powell in the end too joined the party as he smashed 2 sixes in the end. The total was chased down in the 5th over.

Akshay: The Devils have been demolished by the Warriors. Devils fans look away. It just wasn't your night. Insane hitting by the Warriors batsmen as they have chased down 98 in just 4.3 overs. No one was spared as Waseem brought up his fifty of just 11 balls, joining Mohammad Shahzad and Chris Gayle for the fastest fifty in the T10 cricket. Waseem remained unbeaten on 56 of just 13 balls as they thumped the Devils by 8 wickets with 33 balls to spare.
