So, that is it from me, Karthik Raj and my co-commentators, Akshay Bhide and Arjun Bhalla. Stay tuned to OneCricket's live coverage of other matches.
Ashton Turner: The Thunder to their credit really challenged us and we had to go plan B and C at times. But it's nice to walk off a winner. We know Richo is a superstar. We're not surprised by his performances. He's coming back from shoulder surgery and we know his best is international quality.
Jhye Richardson: It’s really loud here. Credit to the fans. We always enjoy playing here at home. Pleased with my performance, more importantly glad that it’s come in a win. To defend this score before this crowd is something else. The energy with the ball and on the field was great, and the crowd kept us on throughout.
Comments from the Man of the Match
While Cutting played a relatively sedate knock, Sam Billings kept the asking rate in check but the innings floundered once the former got out. The Englisman Billings still carried on and reduced the equation to 24 off the last 10 balls. However, he fell off the third delivery of Tye's over as Perth Scorchers heaved a huge sigh of relief. In the end, Jhye Richardson completed the proceedings and he even took the final wicket of the last ball of the innings as Thunder fell short by 17 runs.
Third consecutive win for Perth Scorchers and it has come through a very impressive performance. After a shaky start, Colin Munro held up the innings for a while before he got amazing support from the likes of Ashton Turner, Aaron Hardie and Jhye Richardson. These cameos helped Perth Scorchers to end up with 185 which is more than the average first innings score at this venue. Chasing such a huge total, Usman Khawaja got Sydney Thunder off to an amazing start but he fell quickly along with Alex Hales and Callum Ferguson. With Alex Ross also being run-out for nought, Thunder were reduced to 46-4 from where Sam Billings and Ben Cutting started the rebuilding job

W O-U-T!!!!! Fuller, straight, in the stumps and the bails gets dislodged, Brendan Doggett shuffles in the off side and gets out, while Jhye Richardson gets his revenge!!! The game is over and the Thunder side is ALL-OUT!

4 Fuller ball into the woods and Brendan Doggett drills it down the ground for four runs. What a lovely stroke but the game is already over
