Kingshuk: So, that will be it from us on the doubleheader today. See you all tomorrow at the bottom of the table Scorchers vs Renegades game. Till then this is good bye from me, Arya and Askshay. Have a good day.
Kingshuk: Mujeeb Ur Rahman has been adjudged the man of the match after bowling a superbly spell of 4-0-26-2 and more importantly for picking up two important catches and affecting one brilliant runout.
Kingshuk: Thunders were slightly unlucky with Daniel Sams being forced to retire midway through the game after showing concussion symptoms. His condition will be monitored and hopefully, Thunder will get him back against Perth Scorchers on the 9th of Jan.
Kingshuk: The Brisbane Heat bring up their third win of the edition with a convincing victory against Sydney Thunder. The two Joes of the Heat, Burns and Denly were the star of the show with the bat playing pivotals knocks. Batting close to a strike rate of 140, both batsmen stayed at the crease for long enough to make sure that their chase was never doused out by the likes of Tanveer Sangha, who picked up crucial wickets to keep Thunder in the game.
19.1 Tanveer Sangha to Jimmy Peirson
2 Short outside off, Peirson cuts this past point and scampers back for the second. With this they beat Thunder by 5 wickets
Akshay: Tanveer Sangha to bowl the last. He has 2 runs to defend. And he is on a hat-trick.

4 FOUR!!!! Ohhh Yesss. That would settle the nerves. In the slot on the stumps, Bazley heaves this across the line over mid wicket for a boundary
18.5 Nathan McAndrew to James Bazley
0 Follows up with a bumper and Bazley is beaten on the pull
18.4 Nathan McAndrew to James Bazley
0 Nails the yorker on middle, Bazley gets a toe end of the bat and the ball spoons back to Billings. A dot ball
18.3 Nathan McAndrew to Joe Burns
W OUT!!! Burns departs and is there a twist in the tale? Short outside off, Burns cuts it hard straight to Khawaja at backward point who takes a good sharp catch
18.2 Nathan McAndrew to Joe Burns
0 Bowls a bouncer and Burns ducks under it
18.2 Nathan McAndrew to Joe Burns
WD Bowls a wide delivery outside the tram line. Wide signaled
18.1 Nathan McAndrew to Joe Burns
2 Nails the yorker on middle Burns works it into the vacant leg side and completes 2. Peirson had to dive to make his ground. If the throw had hit the stumps, he was a goner
