So that's it from us. It was a great pleasure bringing you the live commentary and match updates for the 8th BBL game. Hoping to come back tomorrow and with another cracker. Till tomorrow, tata from me, Arjun Bhalla with my co-commentators Akshay Bhide, Arya Sekhar Chakraborty, and Sourya Chowdhury.
Daniel Christian: Not happy with the way the game started but Worrall bowled well. I knew they had a good batting line up, but the whole team contributed tonight. Spending time with the people who are playing, it is good fun.
Daniel Christian is the Player of the Match for his all-round performance.
Arjun: After this dominant performance by the Men in Magenta they go up to the third spot on the points table with eight points to their name.
Arjun: It was a great bowling performance by the Sixers to follow up the batting masterclass of the first innings. All the bowlers chipped in but the offspinner Ben Manenti was the pick of the bowler. He took 2 for 23 at the start of the innings and the other bowlers took their wickets after that. Carlos and O'Keefe also got two wickets and Danny took one.
Arjun: The Strikers would never make a comeback from there. Jonathan Wells made 36 not out but it was finding it hard in the middle but to be fair on him, he was the lone batter standing all the other Strikers were coming and going.
Arjun: The Strikers started the innings with a bang as the batting side were 52 for no loss in the fourth over but the man of the hour, the man who turned the match on his head in the first innings, Dan Christian provided his team the first break and then it was like a castle of cards. Christian took Salt's wicket and Ben Manenti took the other opener.
Arjun: A sensational win for the Sydney Sixers over the Strikers here at Hobart. It was pure dominance by the Men in Magenta in their 38 runs win. Here a remarkable comeback in the first with the bat, the Sixers dominated the second innings in the same style.
Sourya: Who would have thought after the first 12 overs that the Sixers will win this comfortably, guys. A 38-run win proves cricket is the game of glorious uncertainties again.

19.6 Carlos Brathwaite to Daniel Worrall
1 Brilliant yorker to end the game and Sixers wins this match. Fuller ball at leg stump and Daniel Worrall plays it somehow through his leg in the leg side for a single
19.5 Carlos Brathwaite to Jonathan Wells
1 Full length ball outside off stump and it's carved towards sweeper covers for a single
19.4 Carlos Brathwaite to
0 Full length ball just beside leg-stump and a dot
Akshay: It was a sensational innings from the veteran. But the standout for me is the way he attacked Rashid Khan. He arrived and stepped on the gas and started taking on bowlers from the word go.
