Hailing from Jalandhar, Punjab, Suraj Kumar is a professional cricketer for the Omani national team. An efficient gloveman, Suraj has been a part of Oman’s national team setup since November 2018.
In a span of six months from April to October 2019, Suraj made his international debut in both ODIs and T20s and secured his spot as the permanent wicket-keeper batsman on Oman’s side. One of the consistent performers, he was named in Oman’s T20 World Cup side in September 2021. At 32 years of age, Suraj would be looking to be the X-factor going into this prestigious tournament and take Oman cricket to new heights.
