Growing up, young Pratyush Singh developed a keen interest to play cricket but since his family had to shift to Agartala from Jharkhand, in keeping with the sport that was popular in his new surroundings, he chose football without second thoughts. But a few years later his family shifted to Delhi and Pratyush’s cricket journey got underway. He is considered to be a hard striker of the cricket ball and has a reputation of being more than handy with the ball. He enjoyed a good run with the U-16 set-up raking up big scores with the bat and has represented Delhi in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
