28-year-old Milind Kumar played all his junior cricket for Delhi before moving to Sikkim as a professional at the start of the 2018-19 domestic season. The move did him wonders and he ended the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy season as the leading run scorer.
The fact that he topped the Ranji Trophy run-scorers chart in the 2018-19 season is testimony to the kind of maturity that has seeped into his game. Royal Challengers Bangalore secured the services of the middle-order batsman at his base price (INR 20 Lakhs) at the player auction prior to VIVO IPL 2019.
