Player Bio

Rabeya Khan is a right-arm leg-break bowler. She received her first call-up to the Bangladesh women's cricket squad in November 2019 in time for the Women's South Asian Games, which were held in Nepal. On December 4 against Nepal, she played in her first Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) match for Bangladesh.

She was named the player of the match after bagging her best figures of four wickets for eight runs. This was also the fifth-best bowling figure by a Bangladeshi bowler in a Women's T20I and the fourth-best bowling figure on debut.

Rabeya was included in Bangladesh's squad for the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup as a standby player in January.

Few months later, in March 2021, she was included in the Bangladesh Women's Emerging team's roster for their home series against South Africa Emerging.

The wrist-spinner won the player of the match award in the third game of the series after taking three wickets and allowing only 15 runs. She was chosen to compete for the Blue Team in the Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games in 2020–21.

Rabeya is also a part of the 2022 Women’s Asia Cup squad for the Bangla Tigresses and would be hoping to spell her cob around the batters once again.
