Player Bio

Mohsin Khan is a former Pakistan batter, who played in the international circuit from 1977 to 1986.

He made his domestic debut in the 1970-71 season. However, the talented batter finally made his international debut in an ODI fixture against West Indies in March 1977.

The opening batter made his maiden Test century in March 1982 against Sri Lanka. A couple of innings later, Mohsin delivered a knock of 200 against England. In this pursuit, he also became the first Pakistani batter to hit a double hundred at Lord's.

Soon, the stylish batter registered his career-best score of 117* in the limited-overs format against India in 1982.

Then, his successive knocks of 149 and 152 against Australia in 1983 were other notable performances in the red-ball format.

In 48 Tests, Mohsin garnered 2709 runs, comprising seven centuries. On the other hand, he scored 1877 runs in 75 limited-overs matches.

The former cricketer was appointed as a chief selector of the Pakistan national team in 2010.

Then, Mohsin served as an interim coach of the team from 2011-12.
