Born on April 28, 1994, Naomi Dattani is a left-handed all-rounder, who leads the Middlesex Women’s side in the English domestic format. She represents the Sunrisers (the new identity of Middlesex) in domestic cricket and the London Spirit in the Women’s Hundred.
Started to play cricket at the age of 10, she made it into the Middlesex Youth team quite rapid. After completing her studies, the southpaw played for Prahran Cricket Club in Victoria, Australia, which helped to improve her cricketing skills.
The southpaw featured for Surrey Stars and Western Storm in the 2016 and 2018 editions of the Women's Cricket Super League.
In 2020, the talented all-rounder was one of the 25 players awarded retainer contracts by the England and Wales Cricket Board.
The 2022 edition of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy witnessed her scoring 95 runs in four innings.
The skillful all-rounder emerged as the top run-scorer for Sunrisers in the ongoing 2022 edition of Charlotte Edwards Cup, with 157 runs in six innings. Furthermore, she also scalped six wickets in the competition.
Dattani represented the London Spirit in the 2021 Women’s Hundred and is also going to play for them in the 2nd edition of the Hundred.
