A tall left-arm bowling all-rounder, Duan Jansen plays for North West Dragons in the South Africa domestic circuit. He was born on May 1, 2000, and is the twin brother of the international cricketer Marco Jansen.
Duan made his First-Class debut for the Dragons against Western Province in January 2019. Soon, he forayed into the other two formats in the same year.
The talented pacer made limited appearances until the 2020 domestic season. In three games of the CSA T20 Provincial Cup 2021-22, the left-armer scalped six wickets.
The left-armer represented St.Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the Caribbean Premier League and 6IXTY.
The 2022-23 CSA One-day tournament saw Duan picking only a solitary wicket in three appearances. However, in the CSA 4-Day Division One of the same edition, the 22-year-old finished with four scalps in as many appearances.
In the inaugural edition of the SA20, Duan picked four wickets for MI Cape Town. Duan will play for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League 2023 after the franchise snapped him for INR 20 Lakhs.
