Bio
Fynn Hudson-Prentice is an English cricketer who plays for Derbyshire County Club.
A right-arm seam bowler with an ability to chip in with few runs down the order, Hudson-Prentice progressed through Sussex’s academy and impressed everyone with his all-round abilities.
He made his Sussex debut in the Royal One-Day Cup match against Glamorgan in 2014. A year later, Hudson-Prentice broke into the Sussex XI for the 2015 County season.
At the end of the 2016 season, Hudson-Prentice was released by Sussex, citing poor form.
In the same year, he signed a three-year deal with Derbyshire and went on to become a key member of their squad.
He made his T20 debut in 2019 and played every game in the 2019 T20 Blast, as Derbyshire reached the semi-finals of the tournament.
A player with great all-round qualities, Hudson-Prentice could have been a bigger player had he been a little bit more consistent. Still young, the Sussex born has a chance to revamp his career and try and cement a place in the national side.
