A right-handed batter, Justin Avendano is an Australian cricketer who plays for Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League.
Apart from the Sixers, Avendano also represents North Sydney and is generally known for his big-hitting abilities. He made his BBL debut during the 8th season of the competition and was also a crucial member of the Sixers squad that won the Big Bash League title during the 2019-20 season.
In November 2018, Sydney Sixers played an academy match against Auckland and this is where Avendano rose to prominence. The swashbuckling batter smashed 122 from just 63 deliveries and was the star of the show as the world took notice of this dashing batter from Australia.
Despite having a great reputation back in Australia, Avendano is yet to impress the selectors with his batting style. So far, he has played 11 BBL games for the Sixers and has only amassed 150 runs.
