That brings us the end to our coverage for the 4th T20I. We will be back tomorrow with the final match of the tour. Do join us in time. Till then, it's adieous from me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) on the behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee along with our scorer Manish Bishnoi.
Rohit Sharma, Indian skipper- How we played this game was great. The conditions weren't easy but we batted very well. Lot of thought behind how we batted and then the way we bowled was magnificent. I thought it was a good score but with the kind of batting line-up West Indies have, no score is small. We have to play good cricket to beat these guys and we played good cricket today. We built some partnerships with the bat and with the ball we used the conditions very well. Look, we do understand Avesh's talent. Anyone can have one or two bad games. When we talk about certain things we actually go out and look to do those things. He used the condition very well. I will like to thank all the spectators who have come to cheer us. It's hot and never easy to stay around but still a day to go.
Avesh Khan- "I feel really good because I didn't bowl well in the last two matches. I talked to two of my coaches and captain and they said we are backing you. As a bowler, you can give runs but you have to bounce back. This is how to make a player. I have given them the result today after their backing but I will like to finish off well tomorrow. On the wicket, the ball was stopping a bit so I was mixing the slower balls with the odd bouncers and it was working. It feels like India, everyone is supporting India. I am really happy for the crowd that they came here to see us. "

Nicholas Pooran, West Indies Skipper: "They got off to a flying start and we came back well was happy with that. 191 was par. We needed partnerships and unfortunately lost our way. It felt bad to be run out that way. I was shattered. I wished somebody else stepped up, it didn't happen. Dominic Drakes stepped up and so did Akeal Hosein who showed his mettle. Hope, the other guys step up. Congratulations to India for winning the match and series. They deserved it. I think we haven't got our pieces right and we will hope to get it tomorrow. A quick turnaround, I hope we can end with the win and get the issues sorted. We play to win and hope we win tomorrow."

Ayan: It was
Nicholas Pooran who won the toss and elected to bowl first after a delayed
start due to rain. The Indians got off to a flier with openers Rohit Sharma and
Surya Kumar Yadav going great guns. Rohit scored a quickfire 33 off 16 balls
while Surya Kumar Yadav scored 24 off 14 balls as both fell in the powerplay as
well. Deepak Hooda came and scored 21 off 19 balls. Rishabh Pant top scored
with 44 off 31 balls as he looked great out there. Sanju Samson chipped in with
30 off 23 balls. Axar Patel’s cameo of 20 off 8 balls took India to an imposing
total of 191-5 in 20 overs. 13 extras were given by the Windies bowlers.
Only five bowlers were used by the West Indies today. Akeal Hosein was the pick of the bowlers once again with his 1-28 in 4 overs. Alzarri Joseph was brilliant today with his 2-29 in 4 overs. Jason Holder and Dominic Drakes may have been wicketless today, but they gave away only 33 and 31 runs respectively. Obed McCoy went the distance as he went for 66 in his 4 overs despite picking up a couple of wickets. He went for 25 in his opening over and things went south from thereon for him.

Arya- It was a stiff target for West Indies to chase but they had the batters in their arsenal who could take the game to the wire. The start was just what the doctor ordered for West Indies. 14 runs came of the opening over of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and West Indies got the kick-off they were after chasing a score close to the 200 mark. Brandon King looked in great touch but the introduction of Avesh Khan brought about his downfall. There was some change of pace from Avesh, the ball stopped on the surface and King ended up playing the shot with hard hands a bit too early and it was a simple return catch for Avesh Khan.
Devon Thomas was promoted up the order but he couldn’t quite make an impact. Avesh Khan bagged his second wicket as Devon Thomas mistimed a good-length delivery up in the air and Deepak Hood took a safe catch at the edge of the circle near the cover area. West Indies needed to get on with the scoring rate and the surge was provided by skipper Nicholas Pooran. He smashed 22 runs of Axar Patel’s first over to get West Indies back into the game. However, a terrible mix-up with Kyle Mayers cost him his wicket as he was run out on the last delivery of that over.
With the score reading 49/3, West Indies needed to bat sensibly as their required rate didn’t creep up. Rovman Powell and Mayers tried to resurrect the run-chase but it was some good bowling in the middle overs from India which put pressure on the Windies' middle order. Kyle Mayers wasn’t timing the ball the way he would have liked and was eventually holed out at long-off to Axar Patel after making just 14 of 16 deliveries. Powell then smoked two sixes of Axar Patel but was holed out the very next ball to a full toss. His eyes lit up there but couldn’t quite time that well.
Jason Holder got off to a brisk start and smashed a four and a six of Ravi Bishnoi but was dismissed in the very next over of Arshdeep Singh when he tried to clear the offside fence. It was a well-disguised slower delivery from Arshdeep and Holder was a bit early into the shot and found the deep cover fielder. It was always going to be an uphill task for West Indies from there on and in the end it was a mountain too steep to climb. Arshdeep Singh finished off with two searing yorkers to hand India a convincing victory.
Arya- Another comprehensive win for India as they take the series 3-1 with one match still to be played tomorrow at the same venue. It was an all-round performance from India and right from the start, it was India through the majority of the game. The Windies' bowlers were impressive in the middle overs but still, India managed to post a more than competitive score of 191 in their allotted 20 overs. West Indies was never in the run-chase, especially after Nicholas Pooran's wicket and in the end, surrendered meekly to concede the series by 59 runs.
19.1 A Singh to O McCoy
W Arshdeep Singh gets another wicket as India closes Match No 4 and seals yet another win and a series victory. An attempted yorker at the base of the stumps. Tailing into the left-hander and Obed McCoy had no answer whatsoever. Right at the base of the leg stump, McCoy swipes across the line but in vain. Misses it and the ball crashes onto the leg stump to hand India a 59 runs victory.
