That brings us to the end of our coverage for today. A thumping win for India as they take the series 3-0. We will be back with a five-match T20I series on Friday. It's 3:30 am IST and it will be safe to say good morning to our viewers from India and the subcontinent. Till the next time, it's good-bye from me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty), my fellow commentators Akshaya Krishna Polya, Ninaad Dixit along with our scorer Zeeshan Naiyer
Shikhar Dhawan, India Skipper: "They are young in age but played quite maturely but the way they handled themselves, I am proud of them and it is a positive sign for us. I've got peace with my form and I've played this format for a long time and unfortunately, I couldn't convert my start to a bigger score.

I don't mind taking risks even if I get out. It was amazing to watch Gill. He and Shreyas were amazing. The way all the bowlers bowled was amazing today. We feel very very grateful and lucky as we have got support from people coming from other countries some people have come from America and we are grateful.

I am proud of the bowling unit for the way they responded. The way Siraj took two wickets early in, then Axar and Shardul chipping in and then Yuzvendra Chahal using that experience to nail the game."
Shubhman Gill, Player of the Match and Player of the Series: "I was expecting myself to get a hundred. The rain is not in my control. Yeah, I was very disappointed with the way I got out in the first two games. Today's game plan was to stay there and play according to the ball and let the instincts take over. I just wanted one more over, nothing else. I think it was an excellent wicket. We played on the same wicket in all three matches. the wicket played very well. It was a great surface for the batter. There was something for the bowers after the 25th over as the ball was gripping."
Nicholas Pooran, West Indies Skipper: "Tough game for us, we could have won this series but we did not show up well. We've had lots of positives The target was going to be a challenge, especially the way India bowled. We didn't get a good start and we wanted to have a good partnership to take the game as deep as possible. Our team is young and is gaining experience, I expect we will learn from this series and do better in the next one. Looking forward to the series against New Zealand.

The batters did well in the first two games, the bowlers didn't quite pick up wickets but ticked most of the boxes. We are gaining confidence and hope to win some ODI super league points. Looking ahead to the t20 series against India as we've just won a T20 series so hopefully we continue to entertain the crowd and congratulations to India for this series win."
Shubman Gill is the player of the match!

Arya- It was Indian skipper Shikhar Dhawan who won the toss this time around and decided to bat. The start was again a decent one for India with openers Shikhar Dhawan and Shubhman Gill playing cautiously at the start but also struck some fluent shots in the process. Gill continued his great form in the series and found the gaps in the powerplay. Despite some good batting by the opening duo, the run rate was just a shade over 4 after the end of the mandatory powerplay.

However, after the powerplay, both the openers came out all guns blazing and started to take the West Indies bowlers on. They didn’t take any undue risks but managed to score at a decent clip. The duo reached a hundred runs partnership for the second time in the series. However, just when Dhawan looked like changing gears, he was dismissed by Hayden Walsh Jr. The leggie lured him into a false with a slow tossed-up delivery and Dhawan ended up top-edging that straight down the throat of Nicholas Pooran.

Just after Dhawan’s wicket, there was a long interruption as rain played spoilsport and reduced the match to a 40 overs affair. After the break, the duo of Shubhman Gill and Shreyas Iyer was all pumped up and managed to find the gaps on a consistent basis and also managed to clear the fence on quite a few occasions. The class of both the players was on display as it was an exhibition of strokeplay. The use of the feet was of the highest order as they took India to a position of dominance.

Iyer was eventually dismissed on 44 of 34 deliveries, an innings which included 4 fours and a six. One brought another as Suryakumar Yadav went for a big heave towards the leg side and ended up top-edging that straight down the throat of the backward point fielder. The rain came back to halt India's progress one more time as Shubhman Gill was left stranded on 98. It was some good bowling by the spinners as they didn't allow Samson and Gill to cut loose. The target for West Indies was eventually revised to 257 in 35 overs.

Arya- West Indies needed a great start to harbour hopes of chasing the stiff target of 257 in 35 overs. Dhawan decided to hand the new ball to Deepak Hooda and he didn't disappoint. He started off with a maiden that put early pressure on West Indies. Mohammed Siraj bowled a splendid opening over as he bagged the wickets of Kyle and Shamrah Brooks in three deliveries to break the backbone of West Indies. It was a brilliant inswinging delivery which breached through Kyle Mayers and disturbed his timbers, Brooks was struck plumb in front of another incoming delivery.

Shai Hope and Brandon King started resurrecting the chase and played sensibly to get the scoreboard ticking along. Hope struck 22 of 33 deliveries and struck a six in the process but was lured into a false shot by Yuvzendra Chahal which brought about his downfall. He tossed that up outside the eye line of Hope and he played all over it and Sanju Samson inflicted an easy stumping. Three down and West Indies was under the pump and needed something sensation from Brandon King and Nicholas Pooran.

Brandon King and Pooran did strike some impressive blows and looked like getting West Indies back into the game. they upped the ante as well and looked like taking the attack to the Indian bowlers. King was looking settled but was dismissed by a brilliant arm ball fired in by Axar Patel. It sneaked through his defence and disturbed the timbers. Pooran was still there and smashed a quickfire 42 of 32 deliveries, which included 5 fours and a six. West Indies had a glimmer of hope till he was there. However, his dismissal at the hands of Prasidh Krishna was the final nail in the coffin for the hosts.

Keacy Carty also departed without a significant score and it was just formalities from there on for India. Jason Holder was still there but the target was still too far away. Shardul Thakur had a ball after being given the ball. He bagged two crucial wickets to put further misery on the home team. Yuzvendra Chahal finished off proceedings with two beautifully bowled deliveries, finishing with figures of 4/17 in 4 overs. Brandon King and Pooran were the top scorers for West Indies with 42 each.
Arya- A throughly comprehensive performance from India as they win by 119 runs and take the series 3-0. Shikhar Dhawan's second series win as India's ODI skipper. He will feel that the objectives have been fulfilled they had set prior to this ODI series. West Indies competed in the first two games as both turned out to be cliffhangers but today, India was no competition. After a great performance with the bat, the bowlers were clinical bowling West Indies out for just 137 runs in 26 overs.
Akshaya: This is the 12th consecutive ODI series win against West Indies for India. Shikhar Dhawan becomes the first Indian Captain to white-wash Windies in the fifty overs format in Caribbean soil.

25.6 Y Chahal to J Seales
W That is the match. Chahal finishes it off in style. Jayden Seales goes for the attempted slog sweep but couldn't quite get the timing he was after. From around the wicket, angling into Seales. He gets down on one knee and goes for the slog sweep. Gets a top edge which has been safely held by Shubhman Gill at short fine leg. Was standing close to the edge of the circle and he doesn't make a mistake.
25.5 Y Chahal to J Seales
0 Seales plays that out. Just though, tossed up again and Seales gets an inside edge onto his pads but luckily it falls in the gap.
25.4 Y Chahal to J Seales
0 Tossed up again, on the stumps this. Seales tries to work it away down the leg side but doesn't make any connection.
25.3 Y Chahal to J Seales
0 Fuller tossed up around off. Seales comes forward and blocks it.

25.2 Y Chahal to H Walsh
W Chahal is a magician with the ball. A cheeky smile from the right-arm leg spinner as he saw it coming. The ball seems to be following Shikhar Dhawan here. 9 now and West Indies are staring towards a huge defeat. Chahal knows when to bowl the slow tossed up outside the off-stump delivery. Was a slow delivery this time, pitches on the rough well outside off and it turns into the left-hander. Walsh goes searching for a shot towards off side. Ends up playing a half-hearted shot and gets an outside edge which has been safely held by Dhawan at slip.
25.1 Y Chahal to J Holder
1 Chahal will continue. A quicker on a fuller-length delivery. Could be the flipper here, Holder moves his front leg and pushes this away towards the off side for a single.
