That's it from the second match of the 3-match T20I series between Australia and England. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. Tugral Azmi here signing off on behalf of my co-commentators AkshayaKrishna Polya and our scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. Stay tuned for more cricket coverage from across the globe. Stay safe, and take care. Goodbye.
Well, England have now won back-to-back away T20I series. They beat Pakistan in Pakistan and now Australia in Australia. For the first time in their history, England have won a T20I series in Australia. What better than this to get prepared for the World Cup? Nothing more, isn’t it…?

On the other hand, Australia clean-swept West Indies a few days back. But, now they have some serious problems. Aaron Finch said about the dropped catches. Yes, they are the main drawbacks of the series and the reason why they lost. Finch has taken back the position he owns. Tim David has only grown exponentially. But can they make a comeback? All the eyes are on the hosts and the defending champions👀
Dawid Malan (Player of the Match): "We didn't start well. But, as he got into the groove, the wicket got a little better as well. I am over the moon with the way I played and with this victory. Always special to contribute to the team's win. I have been playing in Big Bash, and the knowledge of the ground via the league helped me a lot. On the last tour in Pakistan, I started slowly. But now I have got my rhythm. Getting the cap from Hussey was a special thing (on the occasion of the 50th T20I). He has been brilliant."
Jos Buttler (England Captain): "It is really a satisfying win. We have shown great character on the field. Malan is a brilliant player. He played well. Anchored the innings and took us to the total where we ended. It was his 50th T20I, and it was an extra special innings from him. I mean, he (Curran) enjoys the tough overs. He likes to bowl at the death. He is brave to bowl on the stumps, especially on the leg stump. Hats off. David is obviously a great ball striker. It is tough to bowl to him. We needed a way to dismiss him."
Aaron Finch (Australia Captain): "Fielding was poor today. We were too sloppy on the field. Dropped a couple of catches, and yeah, we were sloppy. Yeah, he (David) is fantastic. He played really well. But, the top order left a little too many to the finishers. The playing XI depends on the opponents as well. We have a good group. Hazlewood, I think he is very fit and bowls with serious venom. Yeah, we need to bat a bit better."
ENGLAND COMPLETE A FANTASTIC VICTORY! England defeat Australia by 8 runs again and clinch the series with an unassailable 2-0 Lead!

Chasing 179, Australia got off to a poor start. Finch took on the bowling from the word go but played one shot too many as he departed on 13. After the dismissal of Finch, Topley also took Warner out cheaply from the other end. Mitchell Marsh looked positive from the moment he arrived at the crease.

Mitchell Marsh and Marcus Stoinis tried to handle Australia's sinking innings and put on a phenomenal 40-run partnership that could have turned the match around. But before that partnership can take any longer, Sam gave his team the important breakthrough they've been looking for. Shortly after the dismissal of Stoinis, Mitchell Marsh also returned to the pavilion after playing an entertaining innings of 45 runs. At the end of the match,
Tim David took over the command of Australia and tried to take the match to the last, but he, too fell victim to Sam's delivery after scoring 40 runs. Australia needed 34 runs in the last 18 balls to win, but today Mathew Wade looked a bit out of form, and Pat Cummins tried a little, but that was not enough to win the match.

Sam Curran was the pick of the bowlers for England, he finished with 3 for 25 in his 4 spells. Ben Stokes, David Willey, and Reece Topley took a solitary wicket each, respectively. England showed excellent performance in all three departments and defeated Australia by 8 runs in this match.

Earlier in the day, Although the England squad got off to a rough start, Dawid Malan and Moeen Ali managed to bat well in the middle over and established a 92-run partnership to set up a respectable target.
Australia haven’t lost any T20I series against England at home. Oh sorry! Scratch that 🌚 England's first T20I series win in Australia!

A lot of drama in the final over of the game. Australia needs 13 runs to win in 3 balls. Two big sixes will change the circumstances of the game.
