NS Chaturved, Siechem Madurai Panthers Winning Captain: "I think it was tough losing a few key players, but the way that the players stepped up was amazing. The bowlers won us the games and so apart from one game our bowling was great. With the bat, Rithik was great today and my partnership of 55 stabilized the innings and got us to a good total which proved enough in the end. There are areas where we need to improve and we will be looking to do that in the upcoming games."
RIthik Easwaran, Player of the Match: "Absolutely. I loved batting today and every day. I have been told to be live wire behind the wickets and so I am up for it. The dressing atmosphere is great and we may have lost a few players, but we were up for it."

In reply, Spartens got a good start as their openers added 25 runs in just 2.5 overs. But after that, their batting line-up shattered like a pack of the cards and their innings went nowhere. Unbeaten 25 off 27 balls down the order from Pranav Kumar wasn't good enough for them to prevent a loss.
