Anirudha Srikanth: We always knew right from the beginning that defending a target could be difficult on this ground. We lost a large number of our wickets in small patches, which worked against us later on. It restricted us to find momentum in the slog-overs. We still have to improve a lot in our bowling during the field restrictions. But actually, I am too happy with the way our boys came back into the game. I learned a lot from MS Dhoni when I used to play under him as well. I always wanted to stay calm during such tight situations in the match.
Rahil Shah(Losing Captain): "We were 12 to 15 runs short, We started out brilliantly but we lost a few quick wickets, He (Poiyamozhi) is a prime bowler we expect him to be back in the next game hopefully he will be fit for the next game, we didn't execute our plans well in this game that cost us the game."

One word which can describe this entire match is a Roller coaster ride. Right from the starting and up to the end this game had a lot of twists and turns in it. Team ITT won the toss in their first match of the season and invited team Trichy Warrior to bat on this wicket, which has moved onto the slower side with every passing match. RTT start off their innings on a perfect note when Murali Vijay and Amit Sathvik were playing together earlier in the innings. They both showcased some real classic shots today, especially when the bowl was new and it was coming nicer onto the bat. Once both Vijay and Sathvik departed back to the pavilion, the RTW witnessed a collapse in patches. In the end, Mathivannan played a crucial knock of 27 not out, with the help of which RTW reached a decent total at the end of their 20 overs. From the RTW side, Saravana Kumar bowled a brilliant spell by taking 3 wickets and just conceding around 40 runs. Mathivannan also contributed well with the bowl also.
Later on, ITT came to bat, their innings got fumbled in the power play overs only where they had lost 2 early wickets, where both their openers got dismissed at the single-digit scores of 7 and 9 each. After that, Subramanian Anand came to bat at no. 3 position and he had almost set the game for his team. He scored an outstanding 35 off just 26 deliveries. Maan Bafna also kept the scoreboard ticking from one end. After this, they got a bit off-color, but with the help of unbeaten 41 runs of Raheja, they finished the things off one over early and grab a victory in their first game only.
And with this, it all ends up, where team ITT has the final laugh, as they win this game by 4 wickets in hand.
