11.35 PM IST: The match has been abandoned!!! The match was delayed by an hour and 15 minutes and the match was reduced to 19 overs per side. Pakistan women won the toss and they decided to bat first, they started the innings with Iram Javed and Maneeba Ali and they got a good start as they scored 29 runs in 3 overs. Thereafter, Javed departed for 12, as he went for a big shot but was beaten and the ball clattered onto the stumps. Muneeba Ali was dismissed for 5. Afterward, no one was settled in the middle as Alana King dismissed three Pakistan batters for a duck in the 7th over. Bismah Maroof, Kainat Imtiaz, Ayesha Naseem, and Aliya Riaz all departed by securing a duck on their board. Rain was back again and the match was interrupted again before being called off. Pakistan was staring down the barrel at 56 runs loss of 6 wickets in 8 overs. Out of the 56 runs, Pakistan has scored, 29 of them were via extras. Nidha Dar and Fatima Sana both were unbeaten at 10* and 1* respectively.

From the bowling team's point of view, Megan Schutt went for 6 runs in her 2 overs for a wicket to her name. Darcie Brown gave 22 runs in 2 overs. Alana King was the pick of the bowlers, as she bowled only over, and picked 3 for 8, all 3 wickets coming in the 7th over. Ashleigh Gardner bowled economically for 11 runs in and got 2 wickets, while Tahlia McGrath bowled an over for 4 runs. 29 extras were given by the Australian women, they will be disappointed with their discipline in this game and will look to improve that in the upcoming games in the Tri-Series.

11.32 PM IST: News from the center, The match has been abandoned.
23.30 IST: The frustrating wait continues as it's still raining on the ground.
22:55 IST: Rain continues to fall here as all covers are firmly in place. It will be safe to say that we are in the process of further reduction of overs. Stay tuned for further updates as rain continues to fall here.
Ayan: Out of the 56 runs Pakistan has scored, 29 of them are via extras. Australia will be disappointed with their discipline, but that has given Pakistan some respectability in the total. They are all at sea here at 6-56 after 8 overs with King turning the game on its head with 3 wickets in an over.
OH NO!! rain come back again !!! Rain is back and we have another interruption. The side covers are on and the umbrella is up. As we have already lost an over due to the delay, the thinking will be we keep on losing over from here on. So, let's see when we can get back out into the field.
