So that brings us to the end of this exciting contest between two good sides. Today it was New Zealand who sneaked away with the victory. Hope you all enjoyed all the action here at our network. Do join us for all the upcoming games from all around the globe. For now, this is me Hitesh Peddurwar signing off along with my co-commentators Saipavan Janaki and Ovaise Shariff and scorer/Analyst Dushyant. Until then stay safe...
Tom Latham (New Zealand Captain): "Winning the toss was pretty crucial, it was a great performance. Henry and Jacob Duffy did a brilliant job at the stop, then the ball was turning as well it was difficult to bat on. Very happy to restrict them to 216. Then the way Finn Allen played was really positive. It was a bit of a shaky start for us, but we were able to put the pressure back on them. Michael showed great composure once again, to be not out once again in a role that's new to he is very confident for the team, hopefully, he can continue this and help us to win many more matches"

Man of the Match ( Michael Bracewell ):  "Yeahtoday the bowlers got us off to a good start and Matt Henry set the tone with three 3 maidens in a row and a really good bowling unit, and then Ireland lots of pressure. They played beautifully in the first game and  It's a different wicket and spun a little bit more and we will be able to take advantage of the pitch. I'm really pleased that was able to see the game through and be there at the end. It was a game and a wicket where the bowling side always feels they have a chance."

Andy Balbernie (Ireland Captain): "It wasn't a good enough score on the board, maybe another 20 runs and things could have been very different but I am happy with the way the boys fought it out!  We wanted someone to bat with George but unfortunately, he was the only one who took us to a formidable score.  We have another game on Friday and we will look to forget the last few matches and come out fresh with better plans."
Time for the Post match Presentation ceremony!!!
New Zealand wins the match by 3 wickets!!!! And they take an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the ODI Series!!!!

Ireland got off to a flying start in the 2nd innings, Adair dismissed Guptill and Young on the first two balls of the innings with the beautiful Yorkers and put the Blackcaps under the pressure. Skipper Latham joined Allen in the middle and they both handled the innings pretty well, they got settled in the middle and then Allen took the charge as he took over the Irish bowlers, He Scored 60 runs off the 58 deliveries with the help of 3 maximums and 6 boundaries.

Irish bowlers tried to put the pressure back on the blackcaps but nothing worked for them, Latham and Nicholls stitched a partnership of 31 runs for the fourth wicket. Nicholls got run out after scoring 17 runs off 27 balls. The bowlers were inconsistent with their line and lengths allowing the batter to run away with the game.

Phillips joined Latham in the middle and made his intentions clear straightaway, He took the charge
and started playing the attacking shots. Craig Young struck on the 2nd ball of his spell and brought Ireland right back into the game. Phillips departed after scoring 16 runs. Then wickets started tumbling down for the Blackcaps. Latham played a brilliant knock of 55 runs off 73 delivery but got trapped in front of the stumps of Singh's ball.

Bracewell held the one end and he wasn't shying off in hitting the boundaries, He took the Visitors over the line comfortably by scoring 42 runs off 40 deliveries with the help of 3 maximums and 3 fours. Adair was exceptional with his first 3 overs in the innings, He scalped 2 wickets of the first two balls, and after that, he was inconsistent with his line and lengths. Singh got a couple of wickets, Irish bowlers bowled well in the middle and took the wickets in the intervals but they didn't have enough runs on the board to defend it.

Earlier in the day, Ireland didn't get off to a good start as they lost a couple of early wickets, McBrine and Campher stitched a partnership off runs for the fourth wicket and tried to put the derailed innings of Ireland back on the track but they didn't get succeded as they were continuously losing the wickets in quick successions, Dockrell played a brilliant inning off 74 runs of 61 deliveries and took Ireland to a respectable total of 216 runs.

Bracewell was the pick of the bowlers for the blackcaps he took a couple of wickets and gave away just 26 runs in his 10-over spell, Santner and Henry took a couple of wickets too, Duffy and Phillips took a wicket each, Henry was very good with the new ball as he scalped two quick wickets with the new ball.

Hosts would be looking to make a comeback in the final ODI!!! They have played well in the patches in both the games, They would be looking to play good cricket in all the departments in the last ODI.
Ovaise: Bracewell finishes it off in style!! Excellent innings from the southpaw who gets 42 from just 40 deliveries on a tricky wicket. New Zealand were ruthless with both ball and bat and have taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the ODI series! Ireland started brilliantly but let go of the advantage when Finn Allen started to accelerate. Join us back on Friday for the 3rd ODI.
