What a match this has been with a lots of twists and turns and and at the last Munster Reds have won by 19 runs.
Munster Reds made a competitive total of 265 runs for the lost of 7 wickets in the 49 overs of there innings. After there top order failed badly, none of them getting even double digit score, Kevin O'Brien and Gareth Delany had a vital partnership with both of them getting to there early 60s before getting out at the start of death overs. But after that it was the lower middle order of reds including Hand, David Delany and mostly Liam McCarthy who scored the cracking innings of 40 runs in just 36 balls which included some awesome and innovative shorts that helped Reds to achieve the total of 265.
Then came the batting of Northern Knights and they too started off very badly and they also lost there 3 wickets in a quick interval but then McCollum and Chore buided a partnership before McCollum departs on 41 but after that it was all about Mark Adair who score the century but luck was not in his favor as he was not able to take his team home before he departs on 108 and then the Knights were bundled out on 246 runs. Frost and Campher were the pick of the bowlers for Reds with 3 wickets each to there names.
